Mortal Kombat Trilogy PC GOG exit game

Only way to exit this game is to press ESC and use a mouse to quit. Ctrl+F4 and Fn+Ctrl+F4 do not work to quit the game.

I would like to close the game and go back to BigBox  without the use of keyboard and mouse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found a work around using the app Super f4

enabling pause menu, under Reset game tab, adding the following AHK code to close the game when clicking reset game in pause menu.

Send, !^{F4 Down}

was not able to find a way to add the code to Exit game in pause menu

Thanks for the tip, it works perfectly, but I have a Question: Is there any way to force LB and BB to close the program when the game is closed (what command and where to add it)
