This happens everytime I close and attempt to relaunch LaunchBox. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar problem. I upgraded via the LB prompt from 13.8 to 13.10 on Win 10 Home & when I launch LB it starts with progress bar and then puff just disappears and nothing happens. I tried installing & reinstalling and yes it is not in launchbox/launchbox.

I just bought the darn thing & barely have 4 weeks into it and already this thing is a dud.

You are experiencing something different than what the original post is about.

If you are not actually getting a specific error then it could be a few different things.

If LB is just not opening at all check to see if your antivirus has quarantined anything related to LB (we have seen overly aggressive AV do this on updates). If that is not the issue try to reinstall a version prior to 13.10 and see if it opens.

If you are on Win 7, 8, or 8.1 then LB 13.10 and future versions will not work any longer. Updates required now make 13.9 the last LB/BB versions that will work on any of those older OS.

Thank you for letting me know. Any idea how I might be able to get version 13.8 (which is what I was using) or 13.9 so I can get things working again on my Win 7 Pro rig? I appreciate any info you can provide.

Email support@unbrokensoftware.com and let them know you are on win 7 and need a copy of 13.8 LB.

I was not aware of this change and got prompted to install 13.10 - of course had the issue and found this thread. I reinstalled 13.8 but lost all of my catalogue and configurations and it basically is a blank slate. I assume that the configs are still there, but not sure how to get them to be used. I spent tons of hours setting this up, and really do not want to start over.

Any ideas what I might need to do?

EDIT: figured it out, installed it a level too deep!

The reinstall likely installed LB into a double folder \Launchbox\Launchbox

Open up your original \Launchbox folder and see if you have another Launchbox folder inside it. If you do you can remove that one and rerun the 13.8 installer.

Make sure the path is just \Launchbox. At the end of the installer UI it will show you the install path. Change it there is you see it is \Launchbox\Launchbox
