Hiddenpalm
This question goes out to all the Launchbox users on Androids. What are your favorite wireless controllers for your mobile device, and why? Post screenshots if you can. Right now I'm using a discontinued 2018 Ipega. I want to upgrade to one with light up buttons and a good dpad. My dpad doesn't seem sensitive enough and doesn't get the corners unless I press really hard, making me struggle moving back and forth in games like Budokan (Genesis, Amiga, MS-DOS). Ideally: 1. The inputs (buttons, sticks, dpad) should be easily picked up by the game. 2. Buttons should light up. 3. Should physically look nice connected to your mobile device, not just a regular gamepad that one would use on a desktop or console.

There's a version 2 out now that's supposed to be a bit better, depending on how you like your buttons to feel. I used to use an ipega and had similar issues as you, but once I switched to the Kishi it was noticeably better in every way. However, it's not wireless (it connects to your USB-C slot), and it doesn't light up (which was something I specifically look for in a controller, as I play in the dark a lot).

Thanks for the feedback. That one looks nice. I couldnt wait though and ended up going for a ShanWan. The dpad are buttons, so maybe that will work better, since I have seen many people complain about dpads. I dont know, honestly. But all the buttons light up and it has that smaller look, so I dont look like a total dweeb in the subway or at work. Its on sale for $30 on Amazon. I only saw two gamepads like these with light up buttons, one was going for $50 and has rumble capabilities. Image below. Amazon dealers for some reason dont like to advertise the names of their gamepad devices, which is weird. But I went for the $30 ShanWan because of the smaller look and longer battery life, which is 25 hours. The $50 one is pretty, but is only 15 hours of play. Maybe I'll write a review here after I get to play with it. Edited February 27 by Hiddenpalm
