Is there a way within BB to delay Steam startup?

...much in the same way you can with Emulators?  Currently in BigBox, I start a steam game, then get a "game over" from BB before Steam even opens.  Then 2 seconds later steam opens, then 5 seconds later the game starts loading.

Since Steam is not listed under "Emulators, is there an easy way to create a startup delay to prevent this?

"Easy" is in the eyes of the beholder.   There is not a built-in way.

 

Here you can read 'Why' (2nd paragraph).  And then 3 posts down is a way 'to prevent this'.
