Help required: My arcade marquees and console banners are not showing up in LaunchBox

I can't for the life of me figure out what the issue is here, but I've downloaded arcade marquees and console banners for all systems, yet they do not show up within LaunchBox.  I can see the files sat there, within the relevant folders, but they refuse to display at all. Interestingly. Banners for eXo's projects (eXoDOS, eXoWin3x and eXoScummVM) do display correctly but they were pre-configured by eXo, so clearly there's some kind of folder issue here.  Can anybody direct me where exactly the files are supposed to go?  I mean, I downloaded them via LaunchBox's in-built media updater, so surely they ought to have been placed within the correct folders already?

Where are you trying to see the images?

Within the top right of the game details panel.  Here is a screengrab of the banner for an eXo project (eXoWin3x) displaying correctly...

and here is an example of a non-eXo based project (Arcade) failing to display a banner/marquee...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That may be the cause of your confusion. The image in question is the "Clear Logo" of that game, not a Banner or Arcade Marquee image type.

Oh, boy... do I ever have egg on my face.  Thank you so much for clarifying that for me.  Everything is working great now.

I'm curious as to what to do in regards to the already downloaded banners and marquees though.  Are they just for Big Box (which I don't use)?  I'm thinking that it would be fine to just delete them in order to save hard drive space?

If you don't use Big Box with a marquee screen they are typically pretty useless and can be removed to save space. Some people elect to use them in the LaunchBox image grid, but if you prefer to use boxes you should be ok to remove the banners/marquees.
