EvilHomer777
I'm in a bit of a very frustrating pickle. Earlier today, I saw the new update (13.14) was available. I updated but ran into a problem. Can't remember what it was but basically I had to stop the installation due to the error. it's weird because this never happens. I tried to run LaunchBox again but no matter what I did, the program did not start. Not even after several PC restarts. I then figure, hey, why don't I just redownload the app and reinstall it manually. Bad idea. Unfortunately doing that removed my configuration including the back ups... unless I am missing something and there is another way to restore from disk where the previous install was? Then I remembered, Hey, maybe my configuration is saved on the LB cloud? And it seem it is! But now I'm afraid to sync to it because I don't know if doing so it's going to sync my local config to the cloud and also erase that. So, can anyone can help? O_O Thanks in advance. C-Beats
I'd take a look at where the second install actually installed. The installer when ran manually adds "\LaunchBox" (without quotes) to whatever folder you select. It's possible you created a LaunchBox folder WITHIN your LaunchBox folder and installed there on accident. When you run the installer manually, select your LaunchBox folder and then remove that last "\LaunchBox" (without quotes) so the path IS the folder in question and then run the installer and all should be well. EvilHomer777
That worked! You were right. LunchBox folder inside the original LaunBox folder. Thanks a million. I thought I was going to spend weeks fixing all my custom stuff O_O Edited May 31 by EvilHomer777
