Scanning for new ROMs

Hi! I've just set up Launchbox for Android on my Retroid Pocket 3+, and I'm using Syncthing to automatically sync the `Games` folder between the RP3+ and my desktop. The syncing of the files themselves is working perfectly fine, they're in the right place, but Launchbox itself doesn't notice that files have been added. I know I could probably delete the platform and re-scan, but given the level of attention and care that the desktop version of Launchbox gives to keeping the library fresh, I find it hard to believe that the Android version makes this just completely impossible. So I assume I must be missing something; is there a way to just force Launchbox to re-scan an existing platform?

Thanks!

I have been trying to do the same thing. My method is also to use Syncthing to sync games between multiple devices and I add games frequently. I added Launchbox to my devices but I couldn't find how to automatically re-scan all platforms which is surprising because it's the first front end where I couldn't find this as easily as the others I have used in the past. Deleting and re-scanning platforms take far too long (especially when updates are frequently made) so I am wondering the same question.

With Android, if you added games to a game directory, you would need to run the import game tool again.

For example, let's say you import 50 master system games into LaunchBox for Android, then you now add 5 extra master system games into the same folder on your Android device. If you run the import tool again, it will tell you that it found the extra 5 games and allow you to bring them in.

In the future, we may make this more clear in the app and provide some kind of scan tools, which would save a few clicks.
