Retro_Rage
So I have been playing around with Dolphins built in function to boot directly into the Nintendo Wiis menu and happened to come across how to boot directly into the menu. Not sure if this has been brought up before (sorry if it has) but haven't seen it. This is kind of off topic but for those not aware, you can easily download the wiis menu directly into dolphin by going to tools\Perfom online system update. Then load the menu by clicking Tools\Load Wii system menu. You can also add all types of things such as the homebrew channel by copying it into the sync directory that is set in preferences. Anyway, back on topic, you can access this menu directly by simply adding dolphin as a game manually (ie without an emulator in use) and then in application command line parameters just copy and paste -b -n 0000000100000002 I personally have it added and set so "Wii System Menu" is the first "game" in launchbox. Just a neat trick I hope someone finds useful.
AstroBob
Hey, this is such an awesome tip! The Wii menu is so nostalgic—I’ll admit, I’ve been known to boot it up just to wander through the menus and soak in the ambient music. Yep, I’m that person too XD. Thanks for sharing! I love picking up these little nuggets of knowledge.
