Deleting MAME .224 and importing MAME .274

I have an older version of MAME full set I installed. Version .228 and used LB importer to import it. I recently download the MAME 0.274 merged full set. Just the ROMs I didnt grab the CHDs. CHDs I think was 1.0TB
I dont know if there is that many good games to justify downloading 1TB to end up throwing out 80% of it.

Anyway I'd just like to move to the newer version. What is the best way to go about doing that?

If you used the Mame Full Rom Set import option on the old version just run the Full Set Importer on the new set of roms. No need to delete anything. LB will parse the data against the new rom set.

Thats Awesome. So would I keep the folder with the old rom set still? Or can it be deleted afterwards? I was wanting to clean up the drive and not keep duplicates.

You can delete it if you do not need it.

ok great I will probably attempt this once 13.19 gets fixed and I can import MAME sets again.
