Need to setup Final Burn Neo - Video is outdated

Hi there,

I went to the help section of launchbox and found a video for FBNeo, but it's outdated.

Is there another walkthrough that works for the latest version of launchbox?

How do you get help with launchbox? I guess I'll try to contact them directly.

I'm fairly certain the process done in the video should still work (be relevant).  At what stage was it not working?

I was trying to use retroarch to play FBNeo. I see now with your post, that I should've been more specific about that. I suppose I can try with Just the FBNeo executable.

New question - Most of the images failed to download. I'm guessing because it was taxing on the server. How do I attempt to batch download missing media files again?

I've tried View>Media>Refresh All Missing Media, but saw no change.

FBNeo also works with RetroArch for me:

 

To download missing images, can audit the platform (Tools > Audit > Platform Name), then sort rows by whatever you want (Clear Logo, 3D Box, etc). Select one or more games with missing artwork, and right click over them, and then "download metadata and media"....

Select a game in that platform then press Ctrl+A (to select all).  Then..   Tools < Download < Update Metadata and Media for Selected Games...

 

Make sure the platform is set to Scrape As "Arcade".
