Unable to download media

I've linked emumovies and downloaded what media i could for my rom library. but there are still a ton missing. When i try to download media for the remaining games it keeps saying 0 items were downloaded and there were x number of errors. when i open it its a list of images and snaps followed by 404. I tried updating launchbox to the latest beta but its the same issue. ive also rechecked my credentials on emumovies. any ideas?

have you checked each of these games on the gamesDB for the specific platform you were downloading for?

If the games don't have artwork then it ofcourse would show 0 items when downloading them from within launchbox.

If they however do have artwork...try to force a metadata update from within launchbox.

so again. these games have artwork and snaps, when its done batch downloading it says it couldn't download them...

Can you post up a screenshot of the exact error you're seeing? It'll be helpful for tracking down the reasoning for it.

But you can see it will go through the process of downloading, all the while adding up errors. then at the end it says it downloaded zero and will let me see the errors for every media it tried to download.

Same problem here as WeedZ.  It seems to be directly related to EmuMovies batch download being broken in some fashion (it works fine if you download media individually for a game by right licking on the game and then selecting to edit the metadata/media for the game and hitting the Download Media button; i posted in the thread about that particular issue).  I don't think we really want to do that for every game individually (especially as I have thousands of ROMs spread across different platforms. So having the developers address this issue would be nice.

Anyway you can show the far left side of the window? Need the URL more so the generic 404 error. Is there any system you see it more on, or it across all randomly?

you should have 4 images here. one is scrolled right, one to the left, the 0 downloads successful popup, and the download process. it seems to be random. this sample is is about 70 games from my entire library mixed.

He's rebuilt cache records in order to help with the solution but I haven't gotten word of anything since. May be best to reach out via their website. I'll reach out and see if they have a preferred place to report things like this in the future so they have better visibility on what is all affected.
