OhBoy Posted November 18 Posted November 18 While searching for a proper way to exit Steam, I encountered numerous posts with the same question, but the common response was to use taskkill. This can be problematic as it might interrupt Steam during a cloud sync. I've discovered a better solution: Steam's built-in quit command. After searching, I haven't found anyone here mentioning it, so I thought I would share. Create a .bat file with the following (edit Steam's file path to match your installation): @echo off "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" +quit 2 Quote
SubRetro Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Appreciate the find. This can be most useful when your game exiting and even a troubleshooting tool setup on your stream deck too. Quote
