FurabioS Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Hello guys. Can someone help me? I'm having an issue with Big Box. My setup is a PC monitor and a Samsung TV. Both 4K. Monitor 60hz and TV 120hz. As the difference in HZ, when I put on Windows to duplicate the screen, it causes latency and screen tearing while gaming due to the different refresh rates, so I choose extend. In the Bix Box option, I put Monitor 2 (TV) as the main monitor, but it simply doesn't work. Big Box always launch on Monitor 1 in a small size, like a window. I already tried changing DPI compatibility, disabling NVIDIA G-Sync, and the only solution that I found is to change the main monitor on Windows to monitor 2, but having to do this change every time messes up my desktop files, and it's something I don't wanna keep doing. Can someone give me a tip? Attached is a print screen of Monitor 1 when Big Box is open. The print is in Portuguese, but I marked the Monitor 2 (Tela 2) option. Thank you. Quote

Big Box always launch on Monitor 1 What Windows sees as monitor #1 and monitor #2 is not necessarily how Big Box sees them (order-wise). It's not a bug or something that will cause ill side-effects. It's "just a thing". In Windows, set your monitors in the order you want them. Then in Big Box, change it to "1" or "2" until BB is on the monitor you want. Also, though "shouldn't" affect your particular setup, when setting up the monitors in Window's Display Settings, align the tops of the 2 'monitors' and have them side-by-side (vs. one on top of the other). It "seems" like this shouldn't matter, but (e.g. not having the tops aligned) can have undesirable effects. Quote
Jayinem Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) For awhile I was having a lot of trouble with apps or certain games not showing on the monitor I wanted but I started using Borderless Gaming app as I was also having trouble with a few games going fullscreen but it has an option to specify which monitor you prefer for any game or app you could try it. Just have Big Box running and use the right arrow to put it on the right side and right click on it there and choose the monitor you want. Run Borderless Gaming with startup and it should always do it automatically. It also should help with Big Box not being full screen. https://legacy.borderlessgam.ing/ Edited 4 hours ago by Jayinem Quote
