Basti30 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hi, my question here is: PlayStation 3 files are in 2 different formats, ISOs (redump) and the PSN files (No-Intro). How do you import these games into Launchox? I guess with the ISOs it's simple and this just starts the games, but the PSN files should be triggering an installation that I don't want to happen everytime? Thanks for your info. 🙂 Quote
xokia Posted Tuesday at 01:48 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:48 AM I assume you are using RPCS3 for the emulator? Just recently they added ISO support. So assuming you have decrypted the ISO RPCS3 will load the .iso directly. The other style files need to be installed. RPCS3 has an option to install. It will install the files onto its emulated version of a PS3 HDD. If you want launchbox to launch the game you have to browse to the eboot.bin file that is located in the emulated HDD and have launchbox pass it to the RPCS3 emulator. Quote
AstroBob Posted Tuesday at 08:28 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:28 AM We’re working on addind .iso support as a format to be recognised by LaunchBox’s auto-rom import featureset. You can upvote the request here to be notified when it goes live: - https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/ps3-iso-support Quote

Much easier then trying to add the individual eboot.bin files. But an auto import for the .iso would be nice. I just select files to import then select all the .isos all at once and launchbox imports them just fine. Edited Tuesday at 10:26 PM by xokia Quote
