Deleting A Platform

This may sound very stupid but, if I go to delete a platform and start it from scratch it gives me a message saying “This will PERMANENTLY delete the following platform INCLUDING ALL ASSOCIATED GAMES from your collection.” Does that mean it will delete the roms from that platform on my hard drive or just from LaunchBox? Like I said this may be a stupid question but I really don’t want to lose 200+ GB of roms
