Platform Videos Not Playing Using Windows Media Player Option, FFPEG Freezes when Scrolling

I've been trying to figure this problem out for days, in Bigbox while using the FFPEG in video options it freezes while scrolling but all system videos play in the wheel, i switch to Windows Media player video option and it no longer freezes but half the platform system videos are not playing in the system wheel. All videos are mp4 and i have updated everything i can think of, i tried the Bigbox beta update still didn't fix it. Any suggestions i can try? i7 12th gen cpu, 16g ddr, 3050 GPU. BB Version 13.27

A lot of work has been done for video playback in the 13.28-beta release.  In fact, ffmpeg has been removed.  Leaving VLC (recommended) and Windows Media Player.

 

If you're so inclined, you can opt into the beta via Tools < Options < General < Updates.  Alternately, you can wait until the official release comes out.
