Startup Theme Gridblocked issue in 14.0

Hello!

I love version 14.0, but I have a strange problem. I normally use the Gridblocked startup theme, thats working fine in the latest versions of Launchbox, and everything seems to be working fine until I try to play any game, and then nothing happens.

I'm using Windows 11. It works fine in Launchbox, but in Big Box, every button work correctly (it doesn't matter if I use my Xbox One controller, keyboard, or mouse), until I press play, the game music stops, but the game doesn't start. It doesn't matter if it's a ROM or Windows game, and it happens on any system.

I've tried many differents startup themes in 14.0 and they all work fine, except  this one. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do? I'd like to continue using this startup theme. Thanks so much for any help!

Try pressing Alt + tab after you start game to test and see if the emulator is running but you don't have window focus.

Hello!

Thanks for the answer.No, I try to check the windows focus aswell and its happegning in Steam games also.Simply the games doestn launch.

A games Startup Theme is a pretty basic integration and I don't think much of anything has changed with how that actual themes work in a long time.

I just tested GridBlocked Startup Theme v1.0.1 in both LB and BB with no issues.  LB, just to see what it supposed to look like, and BB to try to recreate it not starting the game.

There's really no rhyme nor reason why the games will launch when using that startup theme (any startup theme, really) in LaunchBox but not in Big Box. I could see something being amidst if it messed something up in both UI's.

What then, actually happens at this point?  Black Screen?  Big Box freezes? Literally nothing happens? As in you can then press the Back button, select a different game and [attempt] to press Play again with still nothing happening?

Hello!

Yes, for me is very weird issue aswell.When this happeging Big Box freezes, yes, I need to press back button twice and then I have the control of the buttons again and can move into the menu, to go back or to choose another game.Must be something in my Big Box configuration then if only me have this problem and working fine in Launchbox.

Its a shame, I love this Startup theme, the only one that show the last time I play the games when lauching.

And if you use the Default startup theme, games launch fine in BB?

Yes. I try default startup theme and 3 or 4 more. The only one that not workikng is Gridblocked.I try to unistall the theme and install again, but with the same issue.Anything else that I can try?.Im lost
