Amazon Games login not working

I can't login to Amazon Games via the manage storefronts tool - it prompts me for username, password, and 2FA, then goes to Amazon homepage and just sits.  A popup does come because I have a passkey set.  I've tried using the passkey (skips to 2FA) and cancelling out, either way it gets to the Amazon page and just sits there instead of recording the session or whatever goes on in the backend.

The passkey prompt likely interrupts the normal redirect, so the tool never catches the session cookie. Try a private window with the passkey skipped and complete the 2FA manually, then check whether the Amazon page returns to the manage storefronts tab. If it still stalls on the homepage, the popup blocker or a stale cookie jar could be closing the loop before the backend records anything. Disabling extensions that inject into Amazon pages, at least for that attempt, is worth testing.

I tried removing all the passkeys from my account, the flow remains the same.  It logs in to Amazon and just sits there.

I did notice that it wasn't actually logging me in.  So I logged in manually through the browser window.  Still no dice but my account shows as logged in to Amazon.  Now it prefills the username, asks for a password, then directs to the amazon homepage

Upgraded to 14.1, still can't get the Amazon storefront to show as logged in.  The login process completes and it sits at the Amazon store page.

Not sure if it will be useful, but can you turn on debug logs and share them from a session when you tried logging in?

(fwiw I use a passkey and it works for me)

Doesn't look like anything was recorded in the debug log when I did the login.

@CII_Substance @YsarKain yea, I looked at the code and ... our logging kind of sucks here so not much to learn from them.

Does anyone remember when this last worked? Did it work in 13.27? We did change our embedded browser in 14.0 so it that's when it broke, it was most likely caused by that. But if it broken in 14.1 then... might be something I did.

Pretty sure I was on 14.0 when this started. I was logged in still from before, accidentally cleared the login, now it won't reconnect.  And yes, still broken in 14.1.

So, to rule out some things you can try ...

Reset the cache

1. Close LaunchBox and Big Box
2. Go to LaunchBox\System\State\WebView2
3. Delete or move StorefrontAuth-d51df35f-cb3d-4cd0-b555-834627fa0244-amazon-amazon-account
4. Reopen LaunchBox and try again

This will make sure it's not just a weird thing in the browser cache. Each storefront gets its own cache so this won't affect your others.

We do rely on the built-in "Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime" so might be worth making sure it's updated as well. I think you can see the current version from Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime and you can usually update through windows update or manually here -> https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH&cs=3817160547#download (choose the Evergreen Standalone Installer).

Let me know, but I'll be working on this for the next beta but still haven't found the issue. I'll add logging at least so that might help :).

Same behavior - deleted StorefrontAuth-yadayada, also moved a folder called AmazonAuth there just in case.

It asks for username, password, 2FA, then doesn't log in.

If I log in manually it saves the login username, and returns the logged in page, but still doesn't complete the process.

You can see it is logged in my account.  Attempting to rerun the process returns the logged in page after that.

Thanks @MysterNybble I have the same result as @YsarKain and I'm rebuilding my iteration of launchbox so honestly no good idea when this broke for me. I appreciate you tracking it down.
