Theme Videos and Video Snaps for Nintendo Switch (72 Games)

About This File

Sharing some theme videos and video snaps I made for this console. Focusing mainly on exclusive and temporary exclusives.

How to add them to your LaunchBox and BigBox:

  1. Download the zip files. If you only want the new content, download only the zip file labeled as NEW.
  2. Extract them to LaunchBox's root folder. Content will be extracted to its proper location.
  3. Done! Video snaps and theme videos will show up on LaunchBox's details panel and BigBox's views depending on your preferences.
  4.  For an optimal experience, use BigBox themes like the Unified ones, switch to a fullscreen video view and change the transitions to Fade or Quick Fade.

Technical Details:

  • Video themes are 1080p, encoded using HEVC for optimal file size. Video snaps go from 540p to 720p60 and are encoded using x264 for compatibility.
  • Video themes' audio is 160 kbps aac, video snaps 96-160 kbps aac.

Nice videos but volume is way too loud in most videos.

The audio is normalized in the video editor to not be too quiet nor too loud. It should be fine but I'll double check from now on.

@Suhrvivor I think you may have accidentally uploaded the video snaps of the Zelda games to the theme folder. Snaps and theme files are the same after extracting the archive.

Yep, I messed up. Reuploding the proper files. Should be fixed by the time you read this.

I realize you are probably feeling the burn out after making all these but if you ever get to making more would it be possible to make one for Mystery Dungeons DX please? Currently feeling the burn out myself as I have been working on making and converting themes from hyperpsin for a little over 200 titles.

I'll add Mystery Dungeon to the pending list. I'm not giving up on Switch themes until I cover at least all the western exclusive titles.
