About This File

This theme is my re-take on the excellent Unified-Refried theme and I called it 'Unified Lives!'.  The goal is to present more information to the user during game selection as well as using more graphic assets to complement the display experience.  I hope you like it!

- An informative game card that shows many details of the currently selected game.

- 2 Game wheel views, curved and vertical wheel.

- 4 Platform/playlist views which have bordered and full screen video views, also curved and straight wheels.

-  Single views for game and platform text views (these are necessary views)

- ESRB icons.  If you don't want them, delete or rename the icons.  The 'Not Rated' icon is renamed due to the number of titles without rating.  Remove the exclamation from the filename to see it.

- Marquee, box 3d, disc, cd, 3d cart and front flyer images are all used.  Visibility rules determine how they appear, depending on platform and also file availability.

- Designed for 16x9 widescreen displays.  If it doesn't look right on yours please let me know!

- Visual Icons will be shown for Favorite, Completed and Broken games.  They align to the wheel now.

- Created with Community Theme Creator 2.2.

- Dynamically changing theme images based upon current platform/playlist. just like Refried.

Released

- Reworked flyer, box3d, disc images presentation.  Single images like flyers and box3d/box are a bit larger.  I looked at arcade cabinet images, didn't like what I saw so decided against adding them.  Many images were not real cabinets, others were poor looking.

- Game Status is still shown for arcade games, but console games will now show the game version (as opposed to always showing 'imported rom').  The descriptive text also dynamically changes to whatever needs to show ('Status:' or 'Version:').

- Updated the status bar.  The number of lives in the bottom left indicates the view number you are currently in.

- I added a smooth repeating background to the options page.  I wanted something with a spacey asteroid feel to it.

- Changed the color of the game title font.  Added a slight dark outline.

- Added a subtle opacity animation to flyers/box/disc image appearance.

I briefly looked at adding platform information, but wasn't happy with the first design I came up with so I scrapped it.  I may revisit that sometime in the future.
