About This File

Hey guys.

After many months of hard work, I'm happy to announce and share v2.x Unofficial RetroAchievement DATs with you guys and CUEs and GDIs that go with them. I've included 3 documents for you guys to look at regarding some information you might wanna know but feel free to PM/DM me on LB forums or Discord if you have any questions/problems. These DATs are best used with ClrMamePro but other Rom Managers should work as well. Don't forget to backup your roms first before scanning with these, just in case.

Enjoy.

What's New in Version 30 April 2024   See changelog

Released

  • Added all new games since 28 April 2024 to their respective DATs.
  • Removed the blank Line 3 lines from all DATs due to a misunderstanding on my part.
  • Changed the version numbering in all the DATs from "v2.0x - *Date of edit*" to "vYYYYMMDD", similar to how redump and no-intro number their DAT versions.
  • Added "<category>" to all the DATs' Headers and made each category "1G1R".
  • Added "<date>" to all the DATs' Headers and the full date that the DAT was edited.
  • Added "[Hack]" to a lot of game hack names in the Nintendo DS DAT that I forgot to add before v2.0 was released.
  • Changed the version numbering on the title of this page from "v2.x" to the Full Date when uploading a new version.

I'm busy testing my DATs with RomVault now as well for any issues.

A truly essential tool to manage roms for RetroAchievements, which I still find hard to believe they don't provide themselves

Thanks, I used your 1.5 dats to help make the “Onion RetroAchievements Pack” for Miyoo Mini Plus on Internet Archive and couldn’t have done it without your hard work.

I know you’ve switched to the no-intro naming convention for v2 and it makes sense but I hope you keep the short titles of 1.5 as an option somehow. Would also be cool if hacks, homebrew, and so on went into corresponding folders instead of using the prefix. These are just my personal preferences and I appreciate whatever we get.

Thanks again!
