    Hello. I was getting into creating emulators recently and began to add a few games for PS1 and PS2. I just began with adding a .pkg file for RPCS3 without realizing that you need a disk to play so I saw in video that you can download from the PSN Store and get it to the emulator somehow with some sort of verification to use without a disk. Most of this is foreign to me until I do it a few times. How do you get the PSN Store downloads to my Windows folders and the verification to then play in the emulator? The RPCS3 site is sometimes complicated to understand. That's from their site regarding PSN Store. "For dumping digital games, you must copy the game folder from dev_hdd0/game/GameID on your console over to the same path on your RPCS3 folder. You also need to get your console's IDPS, the game's RIF and ACT.DAT, in order to generate a .RAP license file to be used in the emulator. It is also possible to dump digital content and licenses on any PS3 even without custom firmware, by the way of creating a system backup, and then extracting it with ps3xport software."     Lol. I wish. I didn’t get the controllers figured out until yesterday, and I kept having to post on the forum on Kodi forums to get IAGL and Retroplayer. I didn't try to plug them in until yesterday because I never played on the computer yet. That's the only thing I didn't do for a few day. I had to switch to beta version of Kodi to get a game menu and Reteoplayer to play. Just finished a couple days ago to play. Launchbox has been working the entire time outside of Kodi. The problem was that it doesn’t allow to view beyond the folders section to point to the Launchbox Bigbox.exe. It’s been in the folder the entire time. It doesn't like the GTA Mission 1 London 1969 video snap also.

    Hey guys. I now have set LaunchBox/BigBox with 2 emulators and 6 roms, but the Kodi app still doesn't allow me to view the .exe. Also, LaunchBox/BigBox won't play GTA Mission 1 video snap. It probably began with a comma, but I've been copying and pasting the same name without the comma but won't play it even though it leaves a window for it since it's in the LaunchBox/videos folder. Lots of games have commas so might as well figure this now. I never played on a computer yet, but I was trying to play the ones that are no longer available on the systems to play them all again. Then I can go digging for more. I always and still have 3 systems. The only way I can map/play the game is plugging in the controller. Is that correct? Any help will be appreciated.

    Actually I was going to use Retro Arch and IAGL, but my keyboard wasn’t compatible so I try using Reto Player. I did find videos about the PS1 and PS2 emulators and LaunchBox. I didn’t look for 3 because I couldn’t find Roms yet. I’m going to try to set it up now. Thank you very much for your help.

    I have PowerDVD for movies, and they have a computer/tv mode, but I have to plug in a HDMI cable for the tv, but there is only one. I bought a splitter but the computer monitor was black until I plugged it straight in again.

    So simply adding the Roms makes the .exe appear? I have Chromecast but no Android devices. I just wanted to stream pc to Chromecast.

    I was in the middle setting up IAGL and RetroPlayer in Kodi with 10TBs of games to play so that's why I'm confused and wanted to use Kodi. It stalled because my Kodi installation didn't come with Retroplayer or game menu so I'm waiting in the fora response how to get them so I can continue setting them up. The problem was it stopped at PSX, but I already set up the PS1, PS2 and PS3 emulators. I haven't found any PS3 roms yet. Finished that last night. Why can't you stream games like that? The computer seat is the most uncomfortable in the house, and I'm in a tiny cabin right now so I don't any way of putting anything comfortable and bigger in here. That would be the downside in Kodi or Launchbox if I can't stream games to the tv and sit in the comfy chairs in the house. I would just buy everything I can on PS4 So far I only got roms for the exact list of games not on PS4 that were on PS1 and PS2. I can't find PS3 yet but looking for 5 to start. I can do way more if they stream. I can get tons...

    This beyond confusing. So I need to have Kodi, Launchbox, and an emulator for playing video games? I was planning on streaming video games and movies. I already researched that so do I need to find Launchbox addons instead?

    Now I'm even more confused. I was planning on setting up Launchbox in Kodi and didn't understand the point of having two folders. I was waiting to find out how to get Launchbox in Kodi before setting it up and adding Roms so I wouldn't have to do it outside of Kodi and once in Kodi. I was hoping to get rid of the other folder that I don't need except for the .exe.

There is an .exe file in the Launchbox folder on pc, but I can't get to those files at the bottom in Kodi. I've been trying that all week. That's blocked of, and I've been trying to Google and YouTube it until the forum finally responded yesterday. It's classified. The above response says there is an .exe in the pc folder, but Kodi won't allow to the files below the folders where the .exe is on the PC. There not even an option for a few files down at the bottom, and I've been checking within every folder. I have not done anything besides install or understand the reason for having two folders.

    There is not a .exe in the zip I keep downloading to use in Kodi. Where exactly are you getting the download? That's the first download on the page. Kodi addon for LaunchBox version 1.5 released! BIG CHANGES in 1.5.0: - THIS KODI ADDON NO LONGER INCLUDES A COMPILED AUTOHOTKEY SCRIPT (LaunchBoxLauncher-AHK.exe). Why you ask, since this Kodi addon requires Launchbox to be useful and LaunchBox itself is required to include the AutoHotkey.exe separately to comply with the GPL license. There is no need for a compiled script. Instead, once you set your LaunchBox directory ( eg. C:\Users\<username>\LaunchBox\) in the addon settings, it will use LaunchBox's included AutoHotkey.exe to run the needed ahk helper script. This also allow better compliance with Kodi submission rules in the future for their repository, which is something that will be considered once LaunchBox run on other operating systems. Bugfixes in 1.5.0: - fixed idle shutdown timer issue shutting down users using the minimize option with the idle shutdown timer in kodi set in power savings system settings.

    I deleted it and added the new zip. It is still asking for the same.exe. It is in Documents, Games, Kodi.

    I was trying to install the Launchbox and Bigbox if Bigbox is included app in Kodi. It is confusing because nothing is on Google or YouTube. It keeps asking me where the.exe file is, but nothing shows up besides folders. How do you find the .exe for Launchbox and Bigbox if it’s included? Appreciate the help. Keith
