  1. thanks for that, i've left chd and pbp world and have been running pure for a while but the single files certainly would help here.
  2. way too long but the bulk of that was spent copying files in and out, renaming, etc. the program really needs a file-type selector. i guess this was my hard lesson of get it to work with one game/system first and then do all. eventually i got things to work by removing region notations and using folder name. even though the cues were named the same, the images wouldn't scrape. 🤷
  3. I have been a paying customer of the win LB release for a while now and love the functionality it provides but am also a frustrated and disappointed paying customer of the Android version. If you're using nothing more than cart/disk-based games, I suppose it works very well though some meta data editing would be appreciated. But for disc-based games, it's a difficult, painful, and messy process to import and scrape. This seems to be a core feature needed for a front-end yet the ball really does feel dropped here. If the team's unaware of importing issues, I'm happy to provide detailed examples of my experience thus far but I'm hoping that this is high on the roadmap and will be addressed in the next version. 3hrs in to trying to get Saturn setup and this is what I have after downloading all media...
  4. About a year later and it seems like that workaround above is still the only way to get multi-file games to correctly import.
  5. chiming in with the same issue. running on an aya neo, it's not possible to navigate options and meta data modals.
  6. thought to look there after posting...strange to list it that way for the tgfx but not pce. sorry about the attitude. i've been struggling with this software for the day and have no systems properly set up yet. it's frustrating. i licensed it years ago and gave up back then. i remember why now.
  7. There are so many moving pieces it's impossible to describe everything without them. Excited to get some arcade gaming in today with your help!
  8. Hahahahaha!!! It was something simple! I kept completely glossing over that. Thanks a ton!!
  9. this is a fresh install on everything - retroarch loads the NeoGeo titles perfectly from the Launchbox Games directory.
  10. Thanks, @neil9000! i caught the NGP issue when taking screenshots and it works well now. Am I missing something on the NeoGeo one though? The platform is "NeoGeo" and the associated platform is the same as well. Thanks again!
  11. So I've done everything I can to try and self-diagnose this before asking for help...I have a feeling I'm missing something very simple. I've got standalone emulators running fine through Launchbox but tried to hook into a new Retroarch downloaded install yesterday and NeoGeo doesn't initiate. I can run NeoGeo through the cores perfectly fine directly from Retroarch. I manually copied my files over to their destination to ensure the bios would be included. I've installed Retroarch to the Emulators directory within Launchbox as well, following the YouTube tutorial. It sounds like the command line statements are no longer needed and I've tried both with and without to the same effect. When I double click a title, I get the spinner for a short period and then nothing. I've attached a bunch of screens that show the set up - any help is much appreciated! (I fixed the platform naming discrepancy in the screens below for NGPC and Retroarch launches perfectly)
