  3. Is it safe to update cores without getting my sytems wrecked. I have a Drive setup with the Console games and some of them use Rocket Launcher to unzip the Files, Is that now obsolete? Does LaunchBox take care of that when you create an emulator? I have never updated the Emulators on that drive because I am afraid of breaking the config setup. Is it safe to update my console cores with retroarch without wrecking the RocketLauncher setup? Also it's setup to use Hyperspin, but some how a section of that got broke so I can't get a specific game to load. and I know games have to be named exact and that seems like a complicated thing to fix if it goes bad. Any thoughts? Where should I begin. I have some ideas? but How do I investigate? Thanks so much.
  4. I am having Major problems with LaunchBox. I have a prepared drive with LaunchBox games on it. Filled with many different Consoles, and I have a couple of Windows 3.0 and dos collections, but recently for some unknown reason, they were pulled off of that drive onto my 😄 drive and I don't know why? Also I have 2 different versions of LaunchBox because some of the games are hooked in through rocket launcher. Which I didn't prepare the drive but I don't want to break the setup. but Is Rocket Launcher still required to use to unzip playstation games? Or does retroarch have iti's own extraction setup, or do I throw winrar, which I bought a copy of that have a better unzip protocol. So much to know? But getting past that Launch Box is forever to looking for imported roms and will never stop and is continually giving me an error message that it is looking to update roms and that it will not hand back control to me until it has finished processing, which it never does, so I am unable to import any roms. I have tried flagging each computer on the 😧 drive to not import anything but I can find where the process is being generated from. I recently figured out how to use software lists for Mame/Mess but I can't get the process to stop to allow me to add and setup these computers. Please Help I hope I make sense. Launchbox is run as 2 seperate versions one on the consoles side, and one on the computer side.
  5. Press to remap key now. alert keeps getting in the way of game play. I somehow changed the start key and now when I press start on the gamepad it kicks me out of the game. for retroarch ps1 controller.
  6. sorry I meant the F2 wants me to set up a command and takes the emulator over and I don't understand what to make those options do. But they stop the games from running
  7. I was trying to add controllers using F2 , and mistakenly changed the config file to exit when I hit the x button on the logitech 310 game controller. How do I set this back to the defaults. Everytime I use a controller f2 in any time I the playstation emulator. interferes and when I press escape or x button the emulator exits.
  8. Oops maybe I should call it notepad extension.
  9. Imistakenly assigned a Fe-uae ini to be opened in the nb. How do I remove it. I went through the hkey regedit but the extensions for my files are not showing up. I also checked to show the hidden files and still no finding of the extensions. Any ideas?
  10. Can I run Retroarch in multiple places. I have Retroarch On my external drive with my games? But I wouldlike to keep the smaller consoles and the computer games on my C:\ Is it possible to do that? For the Amiga for example? FS-UAE and FS-Uae IDUU
  11. I did that, Thanks.
  12. I tried it shortened and it wouldn't take it.
  13. When I try to select any items with my mouse refuses to stop scrolling Any ideas? Thanks
  14. I have a problem with my mouse keeps scrolling when I try to pick the option it scrolls away. It does this in game ex also and I went to the mouse settings and disabled it from working on inactive windows and it's still doing it. Any ideas? Thanks
  15. I got my games working on FS-UAE but how do I get the Artwork in. I know LaunchBox has many games but for the life of me, I can't get it to wqrk with fs-uae. I specified the fs-uae emulator but it just says loading and returns me back to launch-box. Also the part and purpose of a database, I'm a bit sketchy on. Do I need to be using that? Where would I put it?
  16. I put launchbox on my R Drive where my games are kept? Can I also put a Launchbox installation on the c drive? Also am I better of creating two forks for fs-uae one for the configs premade, and another emulator for my own configs in the emulator section?\ Also I bought a license for LaunchBox but I copied it to my Launchbox on R and nothing happened, and on the video I've been working with he puts it on C and it installs some files to other places so can I have it running on more than 1 drive?
  17. You forgot to add fs-uae. Does mutually exclusive mean we should run a separate copy of the emulator with a variation difference and can multiple instances of LaunchBox be run accessing different directories for purposes? For example I have been working through this tutorial and https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=LaunchBox+setup+emulators&view=detail&mid=DD334DAE657EF3CE4447DD334DAE657EF3CE4447&FORM=VIRE both of these explain how to setup Launchbox, but my copy is on my R: directory and I pasted my license I just bought into that directory but it is not recognizing it. All of my roms for various systems are on that HD. but my Amiga roms are on the ? drive should I install a 2nd instance of launchbox on my ? drive? Will it affect the installation on the r:drive? Thanks in advance
