Let me follow up to this... After additional troubleshooting, I've realized that exiting out of MAME64 it doesn't give focus back to Bigbox so the app doesn't start running again. (Even though it's full screen) Mouse click brings it to focus and running as expected. An alt-tab does the same thing. Exiting out of a Retroarch game works as expected, so I guess it's a quirk of MAME64... Suggestions?

I'm running Launchbox 10.13 on Win 10 on a custom cabinet and have an interesting problem. When exiting Mame64 games and going back into BigBox, the entire BigBox UI is hung until mouse 1 is pressed. No pressing of other buttons or joysticks to scroll through the games has an effect. In other words, the entire UI is effectively paused until M1 is clicked. I've tried multiple themes with no luck. This doesn't happen if I'm running retroarch+NES games. In that case it goes right back to a 'live' Bigbox. (Unfortunately my controllers and retroarch/libreto don't play nicely so I can't just use that) Anyone seen anything like this before?

I'm not seeing anything with 'star' in the various files, so either I'm looking in the wrong place or it's hard coded. I'll take another look to double check. Worst case is I write a little regex to copy over the data and move on to the next item. Ahh, good to know it's not me unknowingly having something misconfigured. Appreciate the heads up.

I've got a question... When in preview mode of a game, there is a star rating in the bottom right corner. This rating only populates with the UserRating and not the CommunityRating for me. (So they're all zero stars unless I give it my own rating) If it means anything, I'm able to see the CommunityRating on all the games in LaunchBox. Is there a way for me to have the theme only use CommunityRating?

Ahh, gotcha. Then I'll just roll with it. I was really banging my head in the various config files looking for it, so glad I asked!

Just bumping this one... It's been some time since this was rasied. Are these options now in an xml file I can edit? I'm not seeing it anywhere. I'd like to clean up the list and remove most options like 'view statuses' and 'view regions'.

Hmm... So I switched to Snes9x and it actually worked. I have no idea why the above didn't but now I'm golden. Only 2 hours of banging my head -- thanks for the fresh set of eyes.

Thanks for the fast reply... Got the names matching (I assume that's what you're referring to) and still no luck. Any ideas where to look next? Are there bios files needed in /system maybe? Or some other files more than just the rom zip?

I need a fresh set of eyes as I'm just not seeing what's wrong... My SNES games aren't playing through LaunchBox but they play in RetroArch just fine. Most likely a config issue... - Classic Nintendo and Genesis play just fine with LaunchBox and Retroarch. It's only SNES that won't play. - I've tried the mesen-s core, nestopia (which the Nintendo platform uses now) and neither work - Retroarch doesn't even launch. The double click just does nothing. Help a newb out, please!
