    I don't think you understand what Retroarch is, Retroarch is a frontend and it uses the libretro cores which are emulators. Retroarch itself just acts as the universal GUI for the cores / emulators and it also handles all the input and sound.

    In this instance core and emulator are the exact same thing.

    RomCenter is a rom manager: https://www.romcenter.com/about-romcenter/

    Oof. I forgot that RetroArch is the frontend for libretro ;-;

    I gave up on RetroArch FreeIntv for Mattel Intellivision. I couldn't get some of my favorite games to play correctly, like Dragonfire. I ended up switching to MAME for my Intellivision gaming. Though even that can be a pain in the ass due to all the different card overlays that dictate what the buttons do.

    I only have like 4 intellivision games. i'm assuming u have MANY more than that.

    I previously experienced that windows defender in a nice cooperation with google chrome deleted some files i downloaded (Windows 10 has really gotten aggressive), But since then i always made sure to exclude my important files/folders and drives on both malwarebytes and windows defender.

    Chrome blocked the download and defender jumped in and wiped them (thank's Microsoft), And i also blocked windows 10 updates since then.

    I surely don't hope it's my drive which cost me a small fortune (20 tb don't come cheap).

    I can't get myself to make a clean win 10 install and loose close to 4tb.

    You COULD put all your files in a flash drive, install a new windows 10, then put them back?
