I doible-click on LB to start it up and it started to automatically update LB, I panicked at something happening and cancelled to update (I didn't want the update right away), it said it was rolling the update back. However, when I tried to start LB again, the mouse would just circle for a second and then nothing. I tried BB too. I tried the desktop icons, the taskbar one, and the .exe in the LB folder. Nothing it working. I'm willing to have the upgrade now, I just want to be able to get into LB again. I just got everything working and ready for the cabinet I'm about to build This community is great at working through things, could someone please help me?

Never mind, I found out the problem! I think it is all working now! Thank you for your help! I'm building my cabinet in a few days, and fulfilling a dream that I've had for a few decades! Y'all have helped that become a reality. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

They finished loading overnight. They play! However, there is no sound for the NES games. Whether I play it through RA or LB, there is no sound, but the games play fine. What do I need to do to fix it?

I was wondering if something was wrong with the set, so I downloaded a smaller set and just had Retroarch scan it. It found the items! I'm importing it into LB now. I'll let you know if it plays.

So does that mean these roms are bad or can't be played on LB?

Ok, I'll try that. I can't get RA to play nes games by itself. I've tried to load the content and I've scanned the directory, and I've even gone to load a single game and it says it failed to find Item or something like that

What should I do now?

I deleted the NES platform and re-imported the NES games. They are .zip files on the info side. However, when I double-click the game, it doesn't launch. I have the emulator set to RA with Nestopia as the associated platform.

How do I delete just the nes files from LB so that I can re-add them?

Yes, I had LB scan and import then. My arcade, Genesis, and Snes work, but these went weird. How do I delete all of the nes games (while leaving my other games) so I can try it again? Thank you for your help!

I'm sorry. I mean I know there are zip files on my hard drive, but the games say xml. Here is a screenshot. Plus there are multiple other files that are around it that don't have logos and seem strange.

Hey guys, I downloaded a NES rom set and added it to LB. I HAVE LOGOS FOR DINNER, But a lot are just weird file names. None of them play, bit when I click on them, the info says .XML file and not zip. I don't know what went wrong. I had nestropia and RA, but now use RA inside of LB for the new games. I have zip files for the new games but not sure what to do.

This is what I did with LB and it won't launch through LB, what else should I do?

Beetle is in the bottom left, but ReArmed and Genesis are the only ones to select.

When I try to load FF7 in RA alone, it suggests ReArmed and a Genesis core (?). It's not using Beetle HW.

LOL I mean I had it set to mednafenpsx before in LB and that was the problem, when I moved it to ReArmed it worked. That was because when I launched the game by itself in RA it loaded the game in ReArmed. How do I set RA (not LB since I already used the dropbox to fix it to Mednafen HW in LB) to use Beetle HW? They didn't launch because they didn't match. With HW selected in the LB dropbox it is not launching again. It launched with ReArmed selected, but I want to use HW and have it selected with associated platforms in LB.

How do I make RA use Med/Beetle HW instead of ReArmed?

Ok, I'll use HW. I would like to improve the game if possible, the FF7 graphics are rough to look at, but I'm just playing through it for fun, using a bunch of cheats to just enjoy it (I did my grind when it first came out). What do I do to make it look better?

Mednafen isn't a choice in RA with my cores. I only have those three I listed, which should I choose?
