  1. Hi sundogak and wanderer 189. Used your advice and removed all table specific commandlines, and used the one you mentioned, in Emulator Setup instead. Worked as before (just fine on the other tables, so now I don't have to do seperate commandlines ? ). No improvement on the 3 tables where LB said "The rom file dosn't exist". But the 4th table (Alladin's Castle) where FP said "There was a problem loading that file", now loads fine. The 3 others work after I delete them and reinstall them in LB. Thanks for helping ?
  2. Hi there... Updated from 11.3-final to 11.4-1... Got some questions Future Pinball tables I had for some beta-versions ago the issue (when I installed that beta, it once more was installing some windows plugin, like this time) that Future Pinball couldn't load any tables. I was glad that recently it was fixed. Now it somehow returned, partially. Only 4 of my 17 installed tables are affected: 4Square (Gottlieb 1971).fpt ABraCaDaBra.fpt ACDC MOD2.0.fpt Aladdin's Castle (Bally 1976).fpt and again Future Pinball says: "There was a problem loading that file" or Launchbox says "The rom file you've specified does not exist". That is when using the custom command: /open "D:\EMULATOR\FUTUREPINBALL\TABLES\ACDC MOD2.0.fpt" /play /exit like the other tables... I copied it, only changing the tablename. When opening the tables outside Launchbox, via Future Pinball, it works 100 % Future Pinball Exit I used too exit FP-tables with a hotkey (set in Launchbox) on my PS4 controller, works in arcadegames, SNES etc, and worked in FP too, but not anymore, for a while. Max Players The new field doesn't show even if I set the setting. Could it be because I use the theme Lambda beta 1.1? I only view Listview, not big Box.
  3. Hello Jason. I updated from 11.3.beta5 to 11.3.beta9, and now Future pinball works fine again ? Greetings ?
  4. Hi Wanderer I use that commandline too. Worked before. Not in new beta.
  5. Anyone else got problems running Future Pinball now? (Launchbox 11.3 beta 4) I have used it for months via Launchbox always newest beta, but after returning from vacation, I updated to new beta, and now I can't start any FPtables. 2 error msg occur: one asking for admin. rights and one saying the roms aren't present. All worked fine before. Can still launch tables directly through Future Pinball.
  6. On MAMEworld.info you find everything MAMEreleated, including a link for legal roms, that the owners have given for free download. I guess it’s OK to mention that here. There by showing yet another way to use LB and emulators legally. ?
  7. Hi Retro808 When I looked in the folder, there were no copies. But I saw that the xmls were renamed like I renamed my platforms. Nintendo Game Boy Advance I renamed to GBA and Super Nintendo Entertainment System to SNES. And the xmls then were renamed like that too. And then the games didn't work. When I then deleted the platforms once again and reimported, I didn't rename the platforms (and the xmls are the original names) things worked both first and after closing and reopening. So looking at the folder was right place ? It seems renaming the platforms somehow prevents unzipping the roms? Bye ??
  8. Thanks sundogak. ? I tried unchecking the option Extract rom archives before running, but it still didn't work. I then deleted both platforms, GBA and SNES. Then I imported roms again, for GBA and then SNES. It worked, I could open all roms I tried to open. But when I closed Launchbox and opened again, it wouldn't open zipped roms. That is funny... when I import them they work, but after Launchbox is closed and reopened, nothing happens when I try to open zipped games in Launchbox via retroarch. In retroarch, they work, when I open it outside of Launchbox, so I guess its a LB issue. But what? ?
  9. Hi... I’m trying to get Retroarch and Launchbox to work together. MAME and Future Pinball I have working in Launchbox outside Retroarch. For consoles like GBA and SNES: My roms are zipped (*.zip). I have checked Extract roms before running-option. When I run a game it only opens if the rom I imported is unzipped. Zipped roms doesnt open. (After that I tried to import unzipped roms and they work). What should I check? I followed the updated youtube tutorial on retroarch and launchbox. Greetings ?
  10. OH, never mind, it seems I can reimport the tables and thennthe manuals are found, if they are named right and lies in Launchbox, Manuals, Pinball folder. Glad I only edited 10 tables so far (with custom commandlines, game details etc). ? Thanks for helping out ?
  11. Ok? ... but I CAN view my games manuals made in RTF via Launchbox, choosing: game and then CTRL + M or rightclick and View Manual, then the manual opens in my RTf-editor (MS Wordpad). Can you bulk edit games with pdf-manuals and choose Path to manual and only choose folder, or do you have to pick a file? ?

    Game manuals

Hi In Launchbox Premium... I create my own Game Manuals (*.rtf) for my Future Pinball tables. They work fine, but for every table I have to edit and browse the path to the corresponding manual. Even if I store them in Launchbox - Manuals - Pinball. I tried to move the folder, and tried to bulk edit, but no succes. Bulk edit - Path to manuals, needs a file not a folder... Any input? Greetings ?
  13. OK, thanks, I'll give it a try ?
  14. Hi I think I'll try to edit at Launchbox-theme, if it not shows to be too difficult. I saw the relevant Launcbox video tutorial and would download Visual Studio Community, but that video said to use default choises when downloading. I guess it's a version or 2 older. Here when trying to download elements to install, nothing is chosen as default, and when I choose all elements, it needs 40+ Gb, which I don't need, if not necessary. Can you tell me what to choose? Greetings
  15. Oh, your right, come to think of it. Leaderboards can be near impossible. Local Highscore like in vpman would be great, then ?
  16. ? that wraps it up. BTW that was a HUGE amount of games you checked. When you're all done, I'm sure you find a new way to perfect your collection, I know I would ?
  17. ShawnS: I tried adapting Lambda theme to my needs - it's almost perfect ???‍♂️ Thanks for info, mate
  18. ? yeahr. Just got a new laptop, old one died, so now all emulation starts from scratch. Thats nice, then I can do a fresh install of everything, new roms, new folders, files etc... MAME, Future Pinball, SNES, NES, GBA, SMS oh a long and cosey season is coming ? Yesterday I forced myself into gaming even though things are a mess. But what a step up it is from EmuLoader, Mame 169, EmuCon and emus, to this Launchbox thing. Very interesting and lots a possibible nerding to do ?
  19. Hi Before submitting a request, I have a question... In the old frontend VPman, there was support for showing Future Pinball hiscores for most tables in the frontend. Now seeing what we can do with MAME highscores, I was wondering if that would be possible in FP? And if not global hiscore lists, then local, like in VPman. IIRC VPman used a highscore.dat, and a hispy thing http://www.fartian.eu/vpman/downloads.html Does this make any sense? Have anyone tried somthing like that? PS. it seems new FP with BAM install has an improved or prettier hiscore GUI? Greetings erling1000
  20. Hi there. Just wanted to let you know there is a mistake in Boomer Rang'r Hiscores. Three people scored the enourmous / impossible score of 110,111,112 which clearly is a glitch somewhere - not pointing fingers ? Greetings
  21. Hi again, ShawnS ? Thanks, I think I'll try modifying that. Now, I have read all about this theme in commentaries, and I see it may be very good for me. I didn't realise that the themes for LB included more views (thought they were static), so I have to try out listview in this theme. A bit wiser, moving on ? funny how frontends, roms and emulators can consume as much time as playing the games... no? ? Have a nice weekend ?
  22. Hello ShawnS ? Thanks for replying ? OK maybe I could go that way, if no other option is possible... Not that strong in coding. Modifying a theme, OK then I should have a theme that would be OK for a start, and I havent seen any that lists games up like that except Launchbox Listview. Maybe I can modify that, but do I then have to do that every time I update? Can you tell me what file to modify, and how? Or point a direction? Or is there a tutorial for that? Greetings erling1000
  23. Hi ? I’m very new to Launchbox. Bought a new PC and went from MAME .137ish and EmuLoader (and emus for some consoles and Future Pinball) to lifelong updates from Launchbox. I’ve been using emulators since mid 1990s, but always with a nice frontend. I’m a sucker for detailed info on the games, and thats why I install LaunchBox to view in Listview. That is the best way. But I miss something, that I had in EmuLoader and other FEs: When I scroll down the list, select the games, I would like to see the in-game screenshot in the top of the right side (game details). There seem to be no way to arrange this window, so one screenshot is in top, then details, then maybe the rest of the media. Is there a way, or a theme that does that? (When I scroll now in listview, select a game, I have to scroll down to see the image.) Thanks in advance ? erling1000
