    Usually shutdown my PC after I've finished using it without closing individual programs like Launchbox before hand. Maybe I'll try closing launchbox first then give it a few moments before I shutdown to see if this helps?

    Thanks. What is considered successful shtdown of the program? Is there a set method so it saves the filter? I'm referring the the dropdown filter on the top left

    Launchbox used to open in my last used filter (which is usually favorites) but now it opens with the platform filter by default. What determines what the filter it defaults to based on filter used upon closed and opening? Is there anyway to pick the default filter upon launch? Also is there a way to get it to default to 'Yes' when the Favourites filter it used?

    I'm installing the latest update and I get this error: Tried the 'Try again' option but I get the same error. I'm reluctant to skip. I've tried restarting the installation but get the same issue. Any ideas?

    Unless I'm mistaken or misusing your plugin, I cant use Steam overlay when launching via your plugin with say an Epic Store game or other stores who have their own launcher besides Steam bought games.

    Hey @Lahma Is there a possibility of getting your Launcher to work with Non-steam games? @Benuno has some scripts that enable your launcher to work with various launchers. It would be a great addition to have this feature integrated into your app.

    Does the Steam launcher work with Rockstar Launcher games? I have a steam controller so I rely on this wonderful plugin to have the Steam overlay work with my games so I can use the Steam controller. I'm thinking of purchasing the newly released GTA Remastered Trilogy Auto Trilogy which is only available via the Rockstar launcher and not Steam but not sure if it will work well with Launch box and this plugin.

    Ah that makes sense. I've got that old age PC game problem where I have tons of games that I've never played, so yes I've never launched these games

    Launchbox does not seem to import my library of games from the MS/xbox store. I only have a handful of games on there. Is there any know issue with import PC games from this store into Launchbox? I use the import wizard by going to Tools->Import->Xbbox/Microsoft store games. I then eventually get the option to logging to my account. Maybe if I install the games I can maybe use the import Windows games option?

    I have a paid sub to Emu movies and I have setup Launchbox with my Emu movies login in the options. Is there a button to press in Launchbox to check if there are any new manuals to download from Emumovies? Is it the download media button? Or does Launchbox automatically check or new manuals ? I love this feature to look at manuals for old games

    Sorry this is probably a really noob question. I've just installed Steam launcher but cannot get any non-steam game to run. For example I'll trying to launch a Cemu game from Launchbox and I get "The file you specified for the emulator application path was not found". If I switch off the Steamlauncher plugin I can run the game fine. The Steam launcher plugin obviously changes the emulators path settings. I tried making Cemu a non-steam game shortcut but it still does not pick up the game. Do I have to do something with the emulator application path settings in Launchbox? Just to give background I use my Steam controller to play BOTW so I can use the gyro function but I usually need to open steam in BPM and launch Launchbox from within Steam BPM to get the Steam controller to work and have access to the overlays. It would be nice not to have to run BPM and run everything by just using Launchbox and the Steam Launcher plugin so I have access to the steam overlay etc

    Hi There This maybe a noob question. I have my Launchbox installation along with emulators and roms on its own dedicated external drive, however I have the emulators and rom in separate folders and not under the Launchbox installation folder. By not having the emulators and rom under the Launchbox folder does that mean my installation is not truly portable? As it is, could I not just take the drive to another PC and play games from another PC? I guess what I'm getting at, is the an advantage to having everything in the Launchbox folder? BTW I'm using Win10

    Is there a way to get Steam to boot automatically into BPM and start Launchbox automatically, then automatically minimise BPM

    Fantastic !! that did the trick. I added Windows platform and pointed to the snes9x core in the associated platforms screen and it now launches. Thank you for the swift response. Although, I may change platform that this game comes under as its a Rom Hack. Is there a rom hack platform type platform or shall I just create it as a custom platform ?

    Hi There I'm having issues launching Kaizo Mario in Launchbox. I can launch the game fine outside of Launchbox with Retroarch using snes9x. I did not set it up using the import function I manually added the game using the add game function and setup under the Windows platform so not sure if that matters. Here are screenshots:
