Big Box Crashing in Version 13.23? Here’s What You Need to Know

The new update has been causing crashes for me as well. I do use startup videos and background music on my setup, but the crashing honestly seems to be pretty random when browsing titles. When browsing games, the background music will sometimes stutter and Bigbox temporarily freezes, and this is sometimes followed up with a crash. I switched back to Windows Media Player for video playback, so it didn't 100% fix the issue, but certainly reduced the amount of crashes I've been getting. This crash was also on the newest beta release. My setup is on a Lenovo ThinkCentre M93P Tiny with 8GB of RAM. The CPU is a Intel i7 4570T and uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 instead of a dedicated GPU. If any more information is needed to help fix the crashes please let me know and I'll see what I can do to help. Thank you! crash.evtx -
Hello everyone! I was curious if there was a setting for something oddly specific I'd like to do, or if there is a way to make it work. For my Bigbox setup, I prefer to have background music playing when in menus instead of game/video audio. I do this by using the "Prioritize Soundtrack Music over Video Audio" option instead of reducing the Video Volume to 0% (I have it at 65%). It works as I'd like it to, with the video of the game being displayed silently with uninterrupted music. What I'm curious about though, is when you select "View Video Fullscreen" in the game details menu, the fullscreen video is mute. This is because of the above "Prioritize" option that is enabled. If I disable that option, it works as it should- the video plays audio when browsing games and when in fullscreen. The issue with my configuration is it then plays over the background music which can be distracting. I was wondering if there was a way to make it so the preview video could have sound only when viewing the video in fullscreen. That way, I'd be able to have a silent video when browsing games, then have audio when the video is in fullscreen. I've attached a quick capture of my setup to help demonstrate what I mean.
