  1. Hello all, Just want to wish a Happy Halloween to my Launchbox friends and your families. Happy pumpkin day.
  2. These are my settings under "NullDC 1.0.4 r150 " The nulldc is a bit tricky, so first you have to make some changes in the configuration file " nullDC.cfg " ( open with notepad ) located in the emu main directory, change the following: Emulator.AutoStart=1 Emulator.NoConsole=1 AutoHideMenu=1 Fullscreen=1 PatchRegion=1 LoadDefaultImage=1 DefaultImage=defualt.gdi LastImage=I:\Sega Dreamcast\*.cdi In launchbox don´t use the emulator pannel, instead use the main one " Launcher ", in " Apllication Path " put the emulator location path : " c:\*.*\NullDC_Win32_Release.exe ", use this one not the " no trace " In the command line the extension look a bit messy but it works launching the hames individually, put: Ill put my one to give a start C:\Program Files (x86)\Emulator\NullDC 1.0.4 r150\NullDC_Win32_Release.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="I:\Sega Dreamcast\daytonaUSA.cdi" Yes all that. nmc pew pew pew and out.....
  3. I finally got it, thanks to you ps4isthefuture, you remind me of that feature again. Under "NullDC 1.0.4 r150 " The nulldc is a bit tricky, so first you have to make some changes in the configuration file " nullDC.cfg " ( open with notepad ) located in the emu main directory, change the following: Emulator.AutoStart=1 Emulator.NoConsole=1 AutoHideMenu=1 Fullscreen=1 PatchRegion=1 LoadDefaultImage=1 DefaultImage=defualt.gdi LastImage=I:\Sega Dreamcast\*.cdi In launchbox don´t use the emulator pannel, instead use the main one " Launcher ", in " Apllication Path " put the emulator location path : " c:\*.*\NullDC_Win32_Release.exe ", use this one not the " no trace " In the command line the extension look a bit messy but it works launching the hames individually, put: Ill put my one to give a start C:\Program Files (x86)\Emulator\NullDC 1.0.4 r150\NullDC_Win32_Release.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="I:\Sega Dreamcast\daytonaUSA.cdi" Yes all that, if by any means someone is having a problem with this emulator, fell free to ask me and all the launchbox communitty. We will gladly help you. nmc pew pew pew and out.....
  4. Actually, i did try that but i think it was with an older version of nulldc, i have the new naomi one and going to try again to see if it was a bad command-line entry. Thanks ps4 for replying, if i get it running i´ll post the results.
  5. I run all my mame, cps´s and neo geo in retroarch, flawlessy. The only games that didn´t run, where all bad roms or mame roms that needed to be updated. But that´s just my preference and everyone should stick with the emus they feel more confortable.
  6. Hello guys, Is it possible to have a feature to set the emu command lines individually? The command you will set becomes the default to all the roms. I can give you the example of Nulldc, the command line needs you to set the rom path and it will be the default for that emulator, basically you will only be able to launch one game. nmc pew pew pew and out......
  7. Hello guys, The new GUI is getting really hot, nice work Jason. Is there a way to extend the controller usage into the platform sidebar browser? Aside from that, it´s getting really cool.
  8. I have no problem on paying for premium usage, we all pay to have premium features in some online games. When you release a product into the market it has to be inovating and new, don´t hit the product to a specific target you have to show it to everyone, we are online, a person may not need it but for sure he might knows someone who does. Like Sentaibrad said Launchbox as to hit all the emu websites, Steam, Origin, Uplay all the battlelogs there are outhere, Neowin, Zdnet all the tech news informers and don´t forget youtube. Just don´t turn Launchbox into a arcade machine builder like Hiperspyn, there are a ton out there, keep it simple, different and inovating. Just a thought into the future, it would be nice for launchbox to have a games database ( ftp access to be included into the premium features ) i know it as to be built from scratch but it can be very promising.
  9. That said, i rest my case. The oe style fits perfectly but the images could be a bit bigger for controller usage.
  10. Hi all, just got back from my vacations. Glad to see the new launchbox features. I would like to see a diferent concept in Launchbox, like a slider dock with the emulators images, it would support perfectly both the mouse and controllers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uu1G34GSrKM I don´t know how hard it is to implement a concept like this ( double layer ), the wheels are diferent from the other frontends i have ever seen. Just a thought.
  11. RZenith said I don't know if this is the right place to post this but when a game is favorited with the new button the changes are applied only at restart. That´s odd, do you have administrator permissions in your computer? It´s working well for me. Set launchbox to run with admin privileges.
  12. For those who don´t know Retroarch is a multi-system game/emulator Here´s a list of emulator´s integrated in Retroarch: Arcade FBA Mame 2014 Atari 2600 ( Stella ) Dosbox Game Boy Color ( Gambatte ) Game Boy Color ( TGB Dual ) Game Boy Advance ( Mednafen VBA ) Game Boy Advance ( Meteor ) Game Boy Advance ( VBA Next ) Atari Lynx ( Handy ) Neo Geo Pocket/Color ( MEdnafen Neopop ) Nes Famicom ( bnes ) Nes Famicom ( FCEUM ) Nes Famicom ( NEStopia ) Nes Famicom ( Quick Nes ) Nindento 64 ( Mupen64plus ) Nintendo DS ( DeSmuMe ) Nintendo DS ( DeSmuMe-future ) PC Engine/Turbograph16 ( Mednafen PC ) Playstation 1 ( Mednafen PSX ) Sega MS/GG/MD/CD ( Genesis Plus ) Sega MS/GG/MD/CD ( Picodrive ) Snes / Super Famicom ( Bnes Accuracy ) Snes / Super Famicom ( Bnes Balanced ) Snes / Super Famicom ( Bnes Performance ) Snes / Super Famicom ( SBES9x Next ) Snes / Super Famicom ( SBES9x ) Various ( MESS 2014 ) Virtual Boy ( Mednafen VB ) Wondwerswan Color ( Mednafen Cygne ) <img src="" alt="App" /> It allows you to set all your game preferences in each emulator - shadders, video ratio/format, controllers, you name it the sky is the limit, like Launchbox. If for example you just want to use one emulator you will set the command line in Launchbox with the following: -L cores\fb_alpha_libretro.dll The fb-alpha is the emulator integrated in the retroarch, you will have to find the right core for the emulator you want to use in Launchbox, if you are using one emulator and have set all the preferences you like, those will be stored in the file " retroarch.cfg " and will be the default settings for all the emus... but i´m a picky guy and i like my monkeys in the right branches, so all you have to do after you set your preferences is to " Save New Config ", and it will generate and store a file with all your settings. Using the example above for FB Alpha, it will look like this: fb_alpha_libretro.cfg. Launchbox Command Line, -c configs\fb_alpha_libretro.cfg Now you can set all your emus like you want, save them and import them to Launchbox with all your preferences. And Game on This looks like a tutorial but if you want to give it a shot... please do but only use it with Launchbox. If you came across with any trouble, i will be more than glad to help you.
  13. Off course my friend, i´m not at home atm but i will do that when i arrive.
  14. For those who use retroarch and have the configurations saved for each emulator you can set this command line in launchbox, it will load directly the core with your personal configurations. -c configs\............ Ex: -c configs\fb_alpha_libretro.cfg
  15. Yes i agree with bd00, the banner and clear logo should be a must have in the game details pane, in my perspective they could be placed in the right side ( this time i´m not dreaming ) with screenshots. Placed in top the clear logo,in middle the screenshots and at the bottom the banner. Left side for the details, the right for images. I know it will enlarge the pane but i don´t think it´s a bad thing. All good, keep it up. The picture viewer works fine with the mouse and the controller, for me it´s a wrap up.
  16. Yo can use this one for Atari Jaguar using Virtual Jaguar. -cart -skip_gameinfo -nowindow -nonewuii
  17. It´s a great idea, big platform ribbons will be more customizable and friendly controller usage.
  18. Nice collection sincro, i use this comand line for virtual jaguar it will load the cart at startup. -cart -skip_gameinfo -nowindow -nonewuii
  19. The games description´s are in the right place in the pane as they always where, i have must dreamed that they where misplaced...!!!!!! All my games description´s are downloading properly bd00, the only one´s that don´t work are those i have set all the info manually without connecting to gamesdb, but that´s normal. Maybe it´s your Av or firewall that blocks or stops the process, i know that some are really tricky. Going to " pew pew pew " to battlefield for a bit...
  20. - Hummm...!!!! I think i found one, is it normal when you download the game info to overwrite the game details that already there? Edit: ( not to spam the forum ) - I´m not at home atm, but for what i recall ( and i´m going to try it first ) it´s the notes positioning in the game details pane, some are at the bottom and others on the right, again im not 100% sure, going to see if my mind isn´t trickin me.
  21. Just scratched the surface, it is looking really nice. I have a few more idea´s but let´s wait for this release to come out. Let´s see if i can find the minor issues, i´m going to built a new game list, like a dear friend of mine always says... " leeeeeetttt´sss ggooooo frag on ".
  22. I like the " Charms Bar " it´s a very nice concept, but can the " Charms " be placed vertically between the box-art gaps? I think in that position would not hide part of image and probably will give you more options in resizing the icons bar. Everything works well with the controller except for one thing, in my humble opinion, when you open the image you visualize it throught windows viewer and you have to return to your mouse to close the viewer, is there a way to open the image like the game details feature? Thank You Jason
  23. Going to try as soon i arrive home, i will post a feedback later.
