  1. Hi Jason and all the others, If your French translataor falls short, or if they need a 2nd opinion, just let me know. I graduated in Translation from university in 2009, and translate either from English to French, or Spanish to French. You can PM me if you need more details.
  2. Hey muppets4, for the (B) button I managed to solve that one. I am just unsure wether it requires 2 steps or just one. 1) STart by opening Launchbox, go to manage emuatord, and then select your PCSX2 emulator. Then go to the autohotkey tab, and remove all togheter the script that is there, save and close. It sems not compatible with Steam IN house streaming. 2)The other step I didi, which might not be necessary is to edit the PCSX2_keys.ini file, and remove the keybind for the ESC key. Just let me know if step 1 is enough to solve your issue, then I'll be able to re-add a keybind to exit PCSX2... Peace!
  3. I tend to avoid adding software just for adding software, but if InputMapper supports Xbox contrllers, I woulld try with it installed. It maps your contrller, and can solve a bunch of troubles sometimes. Keep me posted, I will see if I have any other ideas, because my steam in home is working perfectly or so, for now.
  4. muppets4 I did not had that kind of issues. Which contrller and/or piece of software are you using? I do not have many thing to test with, but I use a DS4 with DS4 Windows. For a Wiimote, I had to make a passthrough USB share to the host pc.
  5. Just woke up, I'lll have to check out later, but irc, I had to disable the new "autohotkey" feature, because pressaing A would quit the game, no matter what I didi. I will keep you posted on that as soon as I have enough coffee! Edit: FOr the record, I manage to keep VLC and sollve the video issue.
  6. Got it working fine. After reading a long thread about this issue on the Beta of in house streaming, I found that some adjustments need to be made on the client machine version of steam as well. If anyone runs into a similar issue, make sure to check your BigPicture setting both on your host AND client machine.
  7. Long story short, I recently moved a PC in another room, and started using bigbox via Steam in House streaming. When I look at the host screen (main PC), everything is displayed fine, but when I use the PC bigbox is streamed to, whenever the video preview starts, the whole screen goes balck, and I have my video in the upper left corner. (I'll try to take a picture or capture later on. For reference, I use the VLC option for videos. I still can play the gamews fine, and controls are responsive once I use them (press play for instamce). I am guessing it's just a dumb setting or something PC/software related, but I was wondering if anyone has similar issues, or any insights. Thanks!
  8. Hi SentaiBrad. Thanks for the answer. From reading your post, what I understand is: the se specialised arcade categories were implemented in Launchbox import feature, but are not directly supported (emumovies category limitation) for immediate scraping. I was hoping there was or would eventually be something different as a manual transfer process for medias for those categories. Since they do not contain all that much roms, I gues I will go through the manual process. But so far so good, that was the only big issue I've seen. (Just to explain further my point, I just suscribed yesterday to Emumovies, and was alll excited to see those categories in Launchbox import feature. Thanks for the explanations, and sorry for the long, complicated post. ^^
  9. Hi Jason, long time user, recent poster. I REALLY like the way Launchbox is going, specially since you took it as a full time commitment. Mad props! I must confess I use beta but no not always read the beta notes on the forujm, and this might be a known issue. I tried to add some Capcom-CPS1, 2 and 3 since they were added as categories and work just fin with Retroarch (I am trying to move toward retroarch more an more). The point is about the scrapping! They scrape just fine as category arcade, but nothing but the vids come up as image etc... nless I put them as category arcade. I tried to differienate them by adding an extra field, say source, but retroarch still tries to launch them with MAME core, and not FInalBurn. In a related note, the SEGA 32X category comes up as empty as well. As I said, this might be a know issue, I just hope it gets sorted soon-ish! BTW, mad props too for the new MAME import Filters! They rock! Thanks Jason, keep up the good work!
  10. Hello Jason, So far, I really like LaunchBox and BigBox. A couple features I could see being useful : In Big Box Mode, adding auto-scrolling to the names in the game titles that are too long to be completely shown; and, 2) a separate batch-function to add video/picture/music to already scrapped games. I have tons of games to add, but my video games don't match exactly the rom name, and adding them one by one is a real pain... Thanks! Edit: Te 2nd suggestion is not specifically for BigBox, just for launchbox in general.
