Hi, i hope I'll be able to find an answer here. I currently have trouble importing MAME 0.192. Certain games that have been added in 191, for exemple Dragon Tresure 1 and 2, dont show up in the import list in Launchbox. Is there anything I can do for that, like manually changing a mame.dat to 192 somewhere? Or any orther solution? If needed, for futher information, im using Arcade64(formerly mamuifx), and got a merged set 192 w/ roms and CHDs. Thanks!

Hello, I was wondering if someone would be aware of, or would like to develop, a plugin that let you launch, say a couple applications in background when launching BigBox (a bit similrar to Kodi/xbmc launcher, for those whoknows). Simple explanation, for big box and emulators, I use a X-Arcade joystick (that "emulates a keyboard), along witha program (X-Arcade to X-input) that turns those inputs into x-input gamepads. FOr casual home usage it's not a big deal, but I'd like to build a cabinet an automate pretty much everything. I already tried batch files, but ran into some issues, and the windows opened wouldnt hide/minimize when launch. Otherwise, a big cheer up to the plugins developers, and the launchbox community!

@SentaiBrad If this "workaround works for every setup, I think it should be stickied or something. I really struggled a long time for this fix!

Ok, undr windows 10, I went under "Power management options", then for the mode I use "advanced parameters" (might not be exact term in English, my windows 10 is in French. Then under USB, Disable suspended USB whatchamacallit. Then if I remember correctly, you need to go under the setting sof your usb concentrator(s), and disable the sleep mode, or wahtever it is called. The above procedure should stop the controller order from resetting, etc. It does work for BT controllers too. I hope I make sense!

I've recently sorted it out ( I think, it works for me). Let me verify exact settings, and I'll come back to you guys!

Hi, IVe been away for a while, and came back recently to my Launchbox project. I am looking for a cheap (ideally), yet very reliable 2 to 4 contreller setup, wirelessly. I curently have 1 DS3, 2 DS4, but needing one for ps4 limit my choices. I was wondering what people use nowadays, if there are any end-all, be-all piece of software to manage controllers (Windows 10 is giving me a pain). I currrently tried different solutions, but nothing coclusive yet. Thanks in advance!~

Sounds like a plan, I'll see how full is my SDD after the transfer, but that's the kind of idea I was lookign for. Worst case I'll get my 2nd SDD. Thing is at the begiining I wanted a all portable Launchbox system, but it's growing too large for my extrenal (usb 3.1). I might as well try to keep it on one computer, since the Nvidia shield makes is kinda portable (not tested oustside home yet...). Thanks both of you for your guidance!

I reached a point where I think I could benefit from having LB (and maybe emulators?) on a SDD, Images and videos on another, and gmaes on a last drive I can backup. So befor I murder my HDD and Launchbox folder, does anyone have experience with this or general advice? Btw my collection is almost all already scrapped. @SentaiBrad Maybe an advice?

One way that could work would be to slect the roms you want to run with a different emulator, right click, select edit, then slect the favored emulator for those roms. This would only work in the case you use certain emulators for certain roms, and not, say 2 different emulator for 1 rom. I havnt tested, but I "think" this should work in such case.

Ok, it is currently for Sega Saturn, and I believe they all have Cue Sheets. I will look further into once it games are imported. BTW, Thanks a lot Brad, always there for morning questions! I really appreciate it!

Semi-related to beta question: What is current state of gameauto-extraction? Say I have a 7z that contains a single folder with 3 files... What will most likely happen, more specifically, I plan to use retroarch. Launchbox build is latest Beta. Thanks!

I'm throwing ideas, but, have you tried with Pokopon's plugin for controller? I know Lilly pad is renowed, but sometimes, simple is better. ALso didi you try to disable the steam overlay in bigbox/In house streaming?

Great thing to know, I just ordered a Nvidia Shield to do the same! (Monnlight APK seems awesome compared to the PC version). Do you plan to stick with the Shield, or still want to troubleshoot the Steam in house?

I will look into it as soon as I have a bit of free time, I know for a fact it's possible. Otherwise, yeah, WMP works somehwat fine.

I wish I could add some advice, however, I am not that good when it comes to troubleshooting others. I remarked, though, what seems to be a strange behavior in Launchbox, and I wonder if it is intended: It seems like, no matter what I do, if I delete PCSX2 Autohotkey script under >> Manage emulator >> pcsx2, and then relaunch LaunchBox, the Autohotmey script keeps coming back, like by default. I am just wondering if it is a normal behaviour, if it is just me, or if it has a specific purpose.

I did watch the video, and am in the process of adding those manually in LB. But the launcher has a lot of graphic enhancements and other stuff as well. It's not the common "Arcade PC Launcher' you find everywhere, or the newest equivalent on Sourceforge. I have messed a couple hours with it, but even with instructions, it's kind of a mess. It would be an interesting toll if it was trasnlated/ported to English though. Since that was the main question of the initial poster (where does this launcher comes from, it has a lot of settings, etc), I tought I'd answer. Regardless, thanks for your answer DOS75! I'll start with the explanations of Simple Austin, and see if it seems enough convenient!
