what's a good non-daemon alternative to mount the .cue files?

Darren This is huge for me because I tried to install Daemon Lite on Windows 8.1 and it crashed my system so if I can mount iso's without touching that evil program then that's awesome! DOS76 said If you can get Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 cheap I would go with that because you can upgrade them to Windows 10 for free until July 2016. Windows 8 does have to be upgraded to 8.1 first but this is also free. I used to have Windows 7 on my old laptop and loved it, got a new laptop with 8.1 and hate it haha so my preference for a new PC build would be to go back to 7 as I have heard bad things (specifically security issues) with 10 but of course I stand to be corrected

Hi @jasoncarr and team, I was wondering if it might be a good idea to have a section on this forum for noobs or those with very basic understanding of the wonderful world of game emulation. I myself have some difficulties understanding alot of the posts in here and I am sure I am not alone in seeking "plain english" answers to questions posted. Screenshots, FAQ's, examples etc would be very useful. Something to think about anyways

Is there an option to be able to search games list in Big Box by letter? i.e search for "S" and it brings up all the games starting with the letter "S"? Or, being able to have a similar search option to Hyperspin where you can hold down your d-pad to the right and it brings up large letters (scroll up/down) and when a letter is selected will take you straight to those games? Hi, So far I have found that through editing a game in LB it gives you the option in "other" to put in a path to any video you might want to use for a sample in Big Box. My question is, if I was to copy all of my videos into my LB folder (C:) in the video file would that still work? or does each game have to manually have it's path entered in LB? Thanks!

Hey all, I was wondering if any of the experts here were able to share a step by step guide into successfully importing Mame roms and the best way to scrape images for front box art? I am familiar with the importing process but because Mame seems to be a different kettle of fish (the zipped file names being abbreviated and all). I was curious to know how others are setting this up? As of now I have imported about 300 Mame roms (using in current location external hard drive) and I reckon maybe 10% of them have box art downloaded. Thanks

When I imported I did a Ctrl F "USA" and just selected all the USA titles to import across onto Launchbox.

Hey guys, I haven't been able to find any info on how Xbox 360 controllers are to be set up for use on LB/BB. Can anyone explain what steps need to be taken to enable controller use? Thanks
