Nope.
There is a Playstation version as well if you are interested in that.
-
Don't know if it's the same version of the game though.
-
No problem. Enjoy it, it's a great game.

It does not need any motion control at all.
-
Seems weird that you got it that far but not quite working. If it's possible to do then it must be some setting in the emulator and there are a lot of settings in XM6.
-
Yeah it seems like it should work, ill let you figure it out since I have zero experience with Munt
-
I figured out how to get it to launch full screen. In the Resume tab of the options screen turn on Resume Window, use Alt + Enter to go into full screen mode and then use Alt F4 to close out the emulator. Next time it boots it will boot into full screen or whatever the last state was when closed out.

Cool man.
I have toyed with this specific emulator (and other X68k emus) in the past. Rebinding controls is clunky as hell and with the X-Box 360 controller I couldn't figure out how to use the d-pad instead of the left analog stick but I will look at it again some more.
I could use my Hori FC4 but I ran into the same issue with the d-pad. On the Hori controller I there is a switch to make the d-pad work as a d-pad, left analog or right analog stick. Setting it to the left analog stick makes it function fine.
Will be interested in hearing more on the Munt thing later though. Without Munt setup I will stick to using Mess just because of the HLSL shaders and the full screen.
-
Oooh, that would be nice to have it working with a better emulator, though Mess with HLSL shaders isn't bad and has it's benefits.
-
Cool, the real question though is will you be able to get that emulator to work with Launchbox ?
-
If you are running it through Mame and they are just buttons simply press Tab on the keyboard and go to Input (This Machine) and configure your controls in there.
-
Lol, yup.
-
Yeah this is the stand alone Mess using a build off of EmuCR. I didn't have any luck getting non arcade stuff working through the newer versions of Mame since the re-merging of the 2 emulators. Plus I like to keep my Mess emulation separated from my Mame stuff just for organizational purposes.
I have no idea if Mess or any of the stand alone X68000 emus support something like MUNT. The stand alones may have something like that built into it. The stand alone X68000 emulators are probably the better emulators over Mess but controller config and getting them to work through Launchbox was a no go for me.

Yeah that's more like a retro gaming store and we have those up here in Canada as well but that place Hard Off is like an army surplus store but for video game stuff.

I can almost guarantee something isn't setup right or your disk images are bad because Retroarch and the Genesis GX core works perfectly. Have you tried getting some new images already in cue + bin format ?
Have you tried other CD based systems like PSX or TurboGrafx CD ? If those work then your bios location is correct but if they don't then I will still think it's a bios issue.
-
Oh I get that and I never said no one else should emulate it, just for me I am reaching the point where certain systems just aren't worth the extra effort for me.
Now if it had some actual exclusives that were respectable I probably think differently.
-
Ahh cool. I did some digging on the FM-Towns Marty last night and did get it working through Mess. In the end though it's a system not really worth the effort to emulate since it has no worth while exclusives and anything really good on it is available elsewhere like the PSX, Saturn and Mame.
-
Not my style but damn that's a lot of work you have put into that setup.
I noticed you have a section for the FM-Towns Marty, what emulator are you using for that and do the games actually play good ?
-
Alright man. It's weird that they aren't working for you through the stand alone if it's working through RA. Only thing I can think of is the bios and they have to be in root folder with the mednafen.exe, the same bios as the RA core.
-
Try Simply Austins video on setting it up, maybe he explained something better than I.
-
So the games do load through Launchbox using the stand alone ?
-
That should work but just for shits and giggles try through Launchbox and if that doesn't work just run the mednafen.exe and see if that generates some extra files and folders and re try the game again.
If that doesn't work I am at a loss because if you have the bios in the folder with the mednafen.exe and your image works through Mednafen_Saturn RA it should definitely work with the stand alone.
-
Hmm, if they load in RA they should load in the stand alone.
Are you trying to load through Launchbox or just by dragging on to the exe ?
Should I even bother with Dreamcast, Sega Saturn or PS2?
