  1. Long time user of Don's Hyperspin Tools, great work. Looking forward to it. Is there a way you add some functionality which can take art in HyperSpin naming format and convert it to LaunchBox? I would even be happier with a cloud sync tool similar to HyperSync (which requires HS premium FTP to use) to sync to LaunchBox media locations... that would just be... amazing... HyperSpin still has a lot of artwork that isn't available on LaunchBox DB and I know this has been brought up in the past, but if it requires the HS premium credentials to work then no harm no foul, otherwise just something to convert locally would still suffice for my needs.
  2. Hi guys, I am also running things off the network, for me I would just like to functionality that allows a local cache of media. If we had the option to have multiple "folder paths" in the XML settings which prefer the first, and then fallback on the next that might be one way of solving it. For instance, on my NAS box Launchbox works totally fine, the main performance hit I notice is for wheel images, a nice feature I would like to keep. Having a slight delay on the other items is less important, but lets just say I want to check a local cache for all images. I would copy all the "Images" platform directories If I could some how put in settings an absolute local path such as "R:\LaunchBoxCache\Images\Super Nintendo Entertainment System" Something like: <FolderPath>Images\Super Nintendo Entertainment System\Clear Logo</FolderPath> can become (optional of course, for backward compatibility) <FolderPaths> <FolderPath>R:\LaunchBoxCache\Images\Super Nintendo Entertainment System\Clear Logo</FolderPath> <FolderPath>Images\Super Nintendo Entertainment System\Clear Logo</FolderPath> </FolderPaths> This way, LaunchBox can check the first location first, use it if it exists, or fallback to the relative (in this case, NAS) location, and I can run BigBox on any device, and caching the images become totally optional. Obviously, the above can be achieved in different ways, such as specifying a "relative path root override" and not touching the XML structure, so internally it will achieve the same as above, but always checking a local path first, the falling back, etc. Many options to go with here...
  3. I had some extremely slow download speeds for media, it took possibly 10 hours to complete 787 SNES image and video downloads last night to this morning. I tried the EmuMovies FTP directly and their cloud tool and the speeds were fine, is there anyway of debugging what could be so slow on this?
  4. Bedwyr said WheelArt full sets are only at Hyperspin's FTP, correct? They couldn't be pulled off EmuMovies IIRC. I'd gathered you'd added some kind of EmuMovies support in beta and the fleeting thought of another art source occurred to me, but Hyperspin's server is a separate donation thingy. GamesDB has clear art for games just like Jason listed. IE:http://thegamesdb.net/game/136 Regardless, even if we need to provide our own packs or clear art sources that would be really nice.
  5. Jason Carr said Thank you Gazoo! By wheel art do you mean logos like in the wheel in Hyperspin? Yes, similar to that. It doesn't fit all interfaces but I really like the effort which has been put in place supporting it, albeit incomplete on some systems.
  6. Bought instantly after this video. Looks amazing. Most interested in support on different platforms and some additional UI controls, namely supporting "wheel" art for games and platforms. Great work!
