I hope someone here can help figure this out.... I'm not sure what to try next... xbox one wireless controllers have been nothing but problems with windows 10. Solved !! When you install Windows, in our Hard Disk are created micro restore partitions that we can see only in the Windows installation page. I have that 6 Hard Disk between inside and outside the PC I had missed one of these partitions during the new installation of Windows, then reinstalling also had the same problem. Once you deleted the malicious partitions, Mame WORKS

SentaiBrad said I have no clue. Did you do the GPU Driver update yesterday? There is one in the Nvidia Expierence app if you didn't get it, or if you did it could be that too. Yes, I did update nvidia yesterday but today when I formatted I temporarily left the Windows Update Version which is old.

I have a PC with Windows 10 x64 with Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPu. yesterday Microsoft has released a cumulative update for Windows 10 . After you install the update, you will not start any emulator and you do not even start launchbox . At this point I decided to format the PC and install Windows 10 again , I foolishly installed immediately also all updates from Windows Update , PC fresh Install 100% . Install mame ....... and not work , black screen (no crash) , CTRL+ALT+CANC and logout to quit . If any of you has a CPU Intel + Nvidia GPU with Windows 10 64-bit + the last cumulative update, you can try on your PC if you have the same problem?

I'd make a thread so as to recommend to owners of Intel CPU Baytrail or Cherrytrail emulators which are ideal for this CPU . DOS76 said Yeah its not bad for what it is but I would still consider it modest compared to the 2 6th gen i5's and the 4th gen i7 I have. I've seen it struggle emulating N64 which even an older Core2Duo can handle. I think N64 emulator that is not optimized . Try to see how work PPSSPP , work AMAZING , And the PSP was much more powerful than a Nintendo 64

DOS76 said @Dovella you should try any other SNES emulator than ZSnes its the worst SNES9X-sx2 is what I use and it blows ZSnes out of the water performance wise and I just couldn't stand looking at the ancient interface they have you using anymore. Here is a link to where you can grab it. It works on some games that don't work with the stand alone version of snes9x. You should give it a try. In this bartop (Intel Baytrail ) i use Windows 10 , LaunchBox , Removed retroarch because not work fine with my encoder (Xi Mo ) Mame (No Nag 0.170) ZSnes Super Nintendo PPSSPP for PSP Magic Engine for Pc Engine , Nestopia fori NES Kega Fusion for Megadrive e Master System .
