  1. You can uninstall it and reinstall the stable version. As long you don't say yes to deleting your media, everything should load right back up.
  2. Beta 2 crashes when I launch launchbox. I have the SHIELD Android TV Pro. V0.42 works great and so did Beta 1.
  3. Yeah I meant Launchbox Games Database. I would love to help with updating quickly. I have some time right now to get quite a bit done. The plan for me is to upload missing North America Front Box and Back box also if they exist, I'll be double checking to make sure they are labelled for North America (if they are correct)
  4. Thanks for your reply. Just wanted to make sure.
  5. I did 38 uploads/ edit on the Games DB a few days ago and they are still pending. Not sure if that area has been swamp with request but I would love to become a moderator to get rolling on this. I've been focusing on the Playstation Platform which seems they really haven't been updated. Thank you
  6. CriticalCid said LB already downloads the artwork for all available regions. @Jason maybe LaunchBox should now automatically use the corresponding artwork based on the region in order to get the full potential out of this new feature? Because as of now it seems completely random which region cover LaunchBox shows me. Region priorities for ROMs which are multi-region or the World region would be nice as well. Like a selection 'What region would you like to scrape?' I've also been in the start of updating the DB. Just waiting to get them approved
  7. Very nice setup! I have Kodi too and notice the more updates they do, the more they crash. I am even running powerdvd as my player! As for backup, I have all the games, emulators and images in launchbox folder and its all on my network server. I am able to launch it on any of my three htpc. I have gigibit connection. The transfer rate is as fast as transferring from hdd to hdd. I'd make a mirror copy so you don't have to worry if anything acts up. I have WD greens HDD.
  8. SentaiBrad said Don't feel like you need to answer Derek if it's too personal (I understand), but what the fuck do you have in all of that!!! I assume it's a bunch of stuff, then backup's of everything? I don't think I have a backup of anything ... >.> Well if he has just only blu Ray ISO format at average 35GB each movie, with 50TB, you'd have about 1400 blu Ray ISO movies. It doesn't take much. I have about 500 blu Rays and about 200 DVDs set up on mine and there no back up on it. No need to if you have the movies
  9. DOS76 said I would love to go rackmount! With what you have, I would!! Lol
  10. Need to get one of these ;) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811219033&FM=1 21tb for movies and tv shows and 1.5 for Roms. I also have launch box with emulators on this to stream everything to all three separate htpc. Imaging if 20 8TB on this!
  11. DOS76 said Yes that is correct. About a month ago I went through all the games in Sega to verify the images and I don't recall seen any of those
  12. Yeah, I did a search on the Games DB and it does show those images. So I assume this must of been done just recent
  13. I did a complete rescrape on the games and on the platform for sega genesis, some of the front box image shows as sega mega drive which would normally show for sega genesis not all games do this. sorry for the misunderstanding, I have a toddler and 3 month twins lol
  14. I haven't seen this before until I did a complete refresh of image download and replace current images. I notice that Sega Mega Drive images appear. It hasn't before. Not all of them do it but many are. Whats the issue with this?
  15. I was about to ask if this was possible! I use Kodi to scrape my movie and tv show collections but I use PowerDVD 15 as my external player. Kodi has a few bugs in it that I don't like which would take some time for them to correct. I'd purchase this as another add on for this software if this does get created! I already brought the premium of this and love it! I hope this can become a new feature very soon!
  16. The file size is about 500mb and it isn't located on the computer, I have it on my server with a gigabit connection. I may just keep the games unzipped since I like things to load instant. I can see that it could take time to unzip. Would there be a difference in speed if you use different type of compression? Like either using 7z or rar or just a typical windows zip?
  17. I was able to run zip files. I tried one of the playstation zip file and it would take about 10-15 seconds for it to unzip before the game loads. If I have the game unzipped and loaded into launchbox, launchbox would launch the game almost instantly. Have others discover how long this takes to unzip?
  18. dmaker said That would be great, cash84. Thank-you I checked my settings and I thought I did change something but they are set at default except where the location bigbox.exe is. Kodi is set as fullscreen and when you click on bigbox, it will load up. To get out of bigbox and back on to kodi, you have to either hit esc on keyboard and scroll down to exit and will bring kodi right back to full screen. If you're using joypad, set a button to exit out of bigbox, you can custom that in options of BigBOX. I use windows 7 x64.
  19. dmaker said I'm having this issue as well. BB launches fine, but when exiting it drops me to the desktop with Kodi minimized. Has there been any resolution to this yet? There's a setting in the add on or big box, that will resume kodi once big box closes. I know it works because I got it setup that way. If no one able to help you get a setting by the time I get home from work, I'll give you my exact settings.
  20. I did an import for Windows games and I see that you can't pick which folder your games are in. I would get some of my softwares scraped thinking they are games. Any chance we have to an option like we would with importing Roms?
  21. cash84 said I've looked into it and just worried about viruses on those downloads. The game I am trying to work with is 'The Elders Scroll: Morrowind'. I'll look a little deeper to make sure I don't get a bad one. Thank you for your fast reply. Thank you, this would had been my option if I wasn't able to find the no disc fix. SentaiBrad said You should be fine, but if it is just for this game, my honest suggestion would be to either to buy a Steam or GOG version. That way no discs are needed. GOG and Steam games can also be added to LaunchBox. Granted, this isn't viable for every game and I don't think you want to buy the game a second time, but you shouldn't have to worry too much about no-cd exe's. Okay, I did find a safe one. Ran into issues trying to make it work but got it. Thanks again! :)

  23. I have a game that requires to have the disc in when launching the .exe file. Have you guys ever run into a game like this? I have a ISO file to mount and works fine. Wondering if there's a way to make a batch file to auto mount ISO file to run game. Thank you!
  24. keltoigael said I dont know if this is a bug or not but with the latest beta client every NES game that I imported that started with a number, 720, 1942 etc got meta data attached correctly, no images and appears in the All tab but not in the NES library. I was able to go into the games and download images but they still appear in All but not in NES. Probably could just hold down CTRL key and use the mouse to selct each NES game that is still in ALL and then right click to edit then a bulk edit wizard menu will pop up. Under field, click platform then selct NES. Hope this helps for now. I had this issue when I first started using Launchbox.
