  1. strange. Anyway, its fixed now. Thank you for such a quick response.
  2. That's strange. It doesn't work with the Wii classic controller,
  3. strange. I tried using the controller to move the mouse and it did not work. Thanks.
  4. So randomly when i click on the launch box window a different alternate cursor appears and moves to the top right. The main cursor, the one controlled by the mouse flickers as does the strange cursor. no matter what I do I can not control this cursor. if I try to use the keyboard to page down the window immediately scrolls up. Nothing is touching my keyboard and this behavior is only in launch box. help.
  5. SentaiBrad said We need a Prototype / Unreleased marker for the Database, but you can create these games or edit them if they currently exist. Just make sure to put these under the Reconstructed categories. I made "Prototype", and "Unlicensed" a series. Done.
  6. I made some custom fields to store Japanese titles as I use translated titles for the main name. so I have "Title (non-romanized)" and "Title (romanized)". I accidentally created some custom fields that I want to delete and it does not have a way to delete them from what I can tell. How can I manage custom fields? Also is there a way to tie the fields to another field? Like if I type in "Doraemon: The Revenge of Giga Zombie" (Title) OR "doraemon giga zombie no gyakushuu" (Title Romanized) OR "ドラえもん ギガゾンビの ぎゃくしゅう" (Title Non-Romanized) it still brings up the same game?
  7. SentaiBrad said Wikipedia is sadly inaccurate and if it is searching other languages of Wikipedia then it is an error within the API. The hope is more so that our Database becomes more and more sophisticated so that we ideally don't need any other sources. The Wikipedia searching will probably, unfortunately, stay the way it is due to their API. It's just not optimized for what we want it for, it's too broad. We are still open to adding Moby Games and Giant Bomb potentially but the focus has certainly been the LaunchBox Games Database. No I mean searching it in my internet browser. If I am downloading for instance a Japanese Famicom game and English Wikipedia does not have an entry then I've looked on the Japanese Wiki and have found the info I was looking for.
  8. Drybonz said Do you mean to move directly to the next file when you are done editing one? If so, I agree that would be very convenient. Yup thats exactly what I mean.
  9. what language of wikipedia does launch box search? I assume english only?? I've found some info searching non-english wikipedia for games from other regions. Add support for Japanese wikipedia at least?
  10. SentaiBrad said Wait you made two threads? Ok... not completely necessary but thanks for making the ticket. I could have sworn there was one already, but this should be one. I requested this feature a few weeks ago and until 5 minutes ago I did not understand how the feature request worked. Let's just call it a learning experience and you can trust i wont make any more double threads.
  11. Bit bucket ticket: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/848/previous-and-next-button-in-edit-window
  12. Sometimes you just have to input info manually. It would be AMAZING to have a "next" and "previous" button so you don't have to close the edit window, select the next game and press the edit button again just to get to the next game.
  13. Anyone know of a place to get good "cover" images for mame?
  14. Is this possible? It would make editing details so much easier.
  15. Yeah that's why you check the boxes for both action AND adventure. lol.
  16. Why would we have a listing for "action adventure", "action" and "adventure" when we could just have "action" and "adventure" and it accomplishes the same thing.
  17. Something I'd like to see is better sorting genres. I import games all the time and there is "action adventure", "Action Role-Playing", "Action Puzzle". This should be "Action", "adventure", "role-playing" all separate and you can check multiple boxes. Also a consensus on therms would be good too. Is it Platform, Platformer or Platform game? I see similar things with shooting games with half a dozen takes on the same term
  18. I have added a bunch of data where missing to obscure games from japan in both japanese and translations where available. I'd like to help on the beta team also.
