  1. Looks like that was a bug in 13.10. Upgraded to the 13.11 beta and problem got fixed up.
  2. I'm running into an issue where the games I import from Steam into LaunchBox are failing to save. With this build I'm using the Steam importer to have Launchbox pick up 27 new titles. It detects them just fine and even gets the metadata and images for them. However, if I switch to BigBox from here or just reboot Launchbox, those games disappear. I know it still saves something as I used the Ubisoft Connect importer to pick up one new game and that saves throughout sessions but not my Steam games. Unfortunately, I tried looking in the Logs folder for LaunchBox on Windows and nothing appears there. Any advice on where to look for logs or if this is a known issue to be fixed in a future build?

Thanks for this. Tried it out yesterday and it does work as you said.

    BannerBox

Apologies for the thread necro but I figure this would be a good place to ask. The latest version of the them automatically generates the banners for you but if I still wanted to create banners for the individual games by hand, do the images still go in the Custom Images folder? Would I still need to give them a name that corresponds to their Metadata number and what would I need to do if I've got a game that isn't in the Metadata yet? Thanks in advance for any answers to these.
  5. Thanks very much for the post. Following your instructions, that indeed worked for Launchbox. Tried it on the default BigBox theme as well but that just resulted in errors when the image is on-screen. I assume something else needs to be done there but at least this is one step closer to learning about the code. Maybe it'll even get to the point where webp would be viable with some tinkering.
  6. Nope. Never did. Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like this kind of thing is only limited to themes but not theme elements like backgrounds and box art and such.
  7. I'm not near my gaming computer at the moment but have you tried replacing the executable line (E:\Steam\steamapps\common\RetroArch\retroarch.exe) with the steam://rungameid/1118310 line? That could possibly work out to get games running with all of the Steam functionality intact.
  8. I have imported a bunch of games to Launchbox previously and I've also imported a few more after the beta update. The list is over 5000 total between Steam and emulation. Do you think that would have anything to do with it?
  9. I like the idea of the program but I'm currently unable to use it. Trying to use version 10.3.5 with Launchbox 18.0-1 beta but whenever I launch the program, all I get is a gray screen. Any ideas on how this can be fixed and/or is there more info you need from me to help fix the issue?
  10. First off, apologies if this was posted before. I tried doing a search but came up empty. I was messing around with one of the themes and decided to try and use an animated gif for one of the clear logos on a game in the library. When adding it to Launchbox, the gif animates in the game's edit screen but not in Launchbox itself. When I go to a theme, the gif fails to animate there are well. I know that support for animated gifs are in themes but does that extend to some of the basics like game backgrounds or clear logos or box art, for example? Thanks for any help that can be provided.
