Erf, very sorry, I tried the manual input as you advised and it worked... looking into details, as you can see on my screeshot above, i was missing a "-" in front of "rom" in command line for Atomiswave in edit emulator settings how lame Sorry again and thanks for the quick feedbacks!

Very strange, I tried your tips, and the only thing that works for me, for example for beachspikers, is to have: rom folder\beachspi\gds-0014.chd file + rom folder\beachspi\beachspi.zip empty zip file. I created it, and I point LB to it to add the game. And then it works. without the empty zip file same as gamefolder name, DEmul can't find the game. If I remove the chd and put it in the beachspi.zip, same it does not work. If I try to zip the whole beachspi folder and leave the final zip file in rom folder, it doesnot work either. Strange? Anyway, I managed to make it work, I just need to create fake zip files everywhere now

Hello DOS76, unfortunately, Sammy Atomiswave is good as my platform in the settings and as in the left menu. with such settings as in the screenshots above, NAOMI2 works perfectly, where as Atomiswave simply open Demul but I need to manually click on File -> Atomiswave -> find the game in the list -> Launch it, and then it works

Hello Just posting a quick help request. I have counted numerous of posts with Demul & Launchbox, I tried to follow all of them and applied the emulator settings as advised (-run=awave rom=) and tick the 2 checkboxes as provided on various screenshot but no matter what : it works perfectly for Naomi 1 or 2 games, but Atomiswave it just opens Demul and I have to manually select the right game in start => atomiswave => list of games and double click on the right one to start emulation. I clearly don't get the issue, as naomi works perfectly. is there anything to change ? is -run=awave the right thing to do ? games are in zip format, awbios as well, name is the same as expected by demul, I can even launch those games directly within windows cmd following -run=awave rom=mslug6 for example... so clearly clueless here bellow all my settings, if you find anything strange, please let me know.

Hello Sorry to jump on that thread, just wondering, I have applied your settings on a Demul complet rom & chd pack I have, all works well with naomi 1/2 zip classical rom files, but can't manage to make the CHD files working. Anything special to do ? shall I zip each folder ? I tried but with no luck Any help is really welcome

Thanks both for the quick reply So in short, you advise not to import all roms but only after manually filtering ? not very convenient, I would have loved to have "hide duplicates" in LaunchBox, able to ask which region to prefer when it sees 3 roms same name but only with (japan)/(europe)/(usa) at the end. Any way to get this at some point in a future release ? Another question, if I do as Maddoc advise and start removing myself duplicates, I saw that I can launch a cleanup, and it removes images; which is great. Any way to remove videos from emumovies as well ? I have the feeling that Launchbox does not clean manuals, videos, etc. right ? thanks ! Bil

Hi all just discovered launchbox recently and I have to admit i love it and took lifetime support immediately. I start added some roms, full sets I had since a long time but wanted to start removing duplicates. I searched in the forums and found 2 ways: - custom filters by region and only keep USA, but it's not a good way for me, as it removes exclusive japan titles for example, I only want to remove roms that I have 3 or more times (japan, europe, etc.) - use launchboxtools, but unfortunately, I am under the impression that it was working for previous versions, when the xml was one big stuff, but now it's split by plateform is there anyway to achieve what i am trying to do ? thanks !
