If I'm starting from scratch with mame .185 and my options of rom packs to download are split, merged, non-merged or rollback which one am I supposed to pick?

wait this is awesome I would be able to move my computer out of my living room with this. What type of lag is there and does it only work with steam or does it stream anything that's on my computer?

Oh man I didn't think of any of that. Haha I just have it called "Wrestling". Would be cool if the logo looked sorta like the first WrestleMania logo or something though. Music....... I mean I like 80s rock haha not heavy metal. Sorry I know I was completely unhelpful here.

Trying to import dos games and during the parsing of the files I had this error pop up DataGridView Default Error Dialog The following exception occurred in the DataGridView: System.ArgumentException: DataGridViewComboBoxCell value is not valid. To replace this default dialog please handle the DataError event. If I click "OK" the error message simple comes right back. Someone please help me!!!!!

So I downloaded the exodos 2.0 pack and there is a folder title "Games" within that folder is a bunch of other folders with all different game names but there is also a folder titled "!Dos". Within the "!dos" folder are individual folders with folders for all the same games that are in the "Games" folder. Do I import the "!dos" folder or the "games" folder? Edit: Never mind figured this out.

I think this should be done but with out getting rid of them in the other platforms. I want to be able to go to my game in PS1, Saturn or N64 but I want it to tell me if I'm in the Saturn version that the game is also on PS1 and N64 or if I'm in N64 that I can play it for PS1 or Saturn etc. This is great for me if I'm just randomly scrolling and find a game that looks fun I want to know right away if it's on other systems so I can then go and check which version is the best so I can go play that best version.

So I think he's saying a game was released for PS1, Saturn and N64 instead of it showing under all the platforms it would show under PS1 (Just picking this system at random). The game would not appear under Saturn or N64 but when you go to the game in PS1 it would give you the option of playing the other versions. Someone else brought up something similar which I though would be great but the game would still appear under all the correct platforms but would still let you know that the game is available for the other platforms and let you select those versions as well.

Anyone have a tutorial on how to set up windows 3 games to run on a Windows 10 system? Every time I click on the game application it says my computer can not run the program. Would also like to know how to set them up in launchbox and get them to run i there is anything extract needed besides just adding them as roms. Thanks

which games are working for this? Just downloaded the romset looking to get it set up. Did you ever get it to run in Launchbox?

I suggested this get added as something on the audit roms feature with in launchbox. The feature is great for looking at what images you are missing and stuff but should also tell us if we have a rom that isn't in the Launchbox games database so we can add it or if a game is in the Database that we don't have. I don't think the Database is complete as of right now so it would be completely useable yet anyway.

So I can into an issue with this method Brad. I believe I was the one that brought this up in another topic. I realized that I could have grabbed some of those images from emumovies so even though I have box art for a game doesn't mean it is in the DB. Now have no image at all for it pretty much for sure means it's not in the DB it's not going to be a 100% way to complete the DB.

I'm not finding much online for Jaguar CD emulation. All I found is that project tempest can do Primal Rage and Baldies and Baldies sound is messed up. Is this all there is?

ahh thanks I sorted out this set up but maybe I'll try to use mame next time I set up a mess system and see how it goes. Is there any real advantage to using the integrated version over the stand alone?

I can get the games to launch through mess but not in launch box. I'm guessing my command line is wrong "xegs -cart" any one get this system up and running yet?

Yea but then don't I need to download the new roms pack and stuff. Both these emulators are such a disaster from a user friendly stand point and that's with me being some what familiar with how it all works from watching the tutorials that Brad did.
