  1. Hi,

with the new Steam BigPicture Mode, there is no possibility to disable the Steam overlay.

So if I press the steam button on my steamdeck, the overlay comes up and BigBox looses the focus. I heard, it has something to do with "windowed fullscreen".

Does anyone else have this experience, or a solution?

    Regards

  2. Hi fraganator,

    I have a few questions.

Is it possible to add an option, that copies the compressed file to a temp path and decompress from there? The reason is, that my roms are stored in my personal cloud and decompress directly from there is not very stable.

Is it also possible to see a progress bar when launchin from bigbox?

Do you consider to share the source Code for your plugin? :)

    Thanks

    Regards

  3. I'd like to see a better extraction routine like in rocketlauncher or similar to the Archive Cache Manager plugin.

I hate it when launchbox is extracting a rom at each launch. Instead it should be stored in a cache path. A option to automatically delete old roms (say older than x days) makes sense in this case.

Is this beta purely a themes project or will there be other additions? Just wondering where the current project list is. Maybe from the last poll? Looking forward to indicators on the game images that show if they are grouped and some of the other things that have been mentioned before.

Not to forget pause screen :)

  5. OK I now have a partial success.

Someone mentioned, that multiplayer via gamestream works, if a controller is physically connected to the host.

As I don't have a third controller, I thought, why not emulating one or more additionaly devices?

For that, I downloaded ScpVBus (virtual driver) and vXboxInterface (to attach virtual controllers).

With that, I can now play cemu in multiplayer over gamestream!!!! :)

And also, both controllers are detected in retroarch menu (I also can configure them seperatley). BUT while in game, only one controller is working. I hope I will find a solution...

If someone wahts to give it a try, here is the link for needed files:

@FoxyMonty Awesome. Basically what I need is a list of all the files from all the latest No Intro ROM sets. You can use this link for an explanation of how to export a file list to a text file (you can ignore the Excel portion): http://smallbusiness.chron.com/copy-list-files-windows-folder-excel-list-40032.html

Let me know how that works for you or if you run into any issues. :)

@DOS76, yes, we'll be using the No Intro convention everywhere possible. Though, what do your N64 ROM files look like? I'm curious why it's marking them all as trainers.

@keltoigael It looks like for some reason it's just taking slightly longer to load those platforms, and so part of the transition is sacrificed. It'd be interesting to know what in particular is slower about those platforms, but that might be hard to figure out without your entire collection (including media). It could be missing media that could be causing the problem, as I have seen delays caused by missing media before.

@lordmonkus Makes sense. I think we need a ticket for that one; I don't recall hearing that request before. I *think* though in the latest versions, if you select XInput it'll automatically work with all 360/Xbone controllers and nothing else. So, if by chance, that solves your issue, might have been worth mentioning. ;)

I think this is what you're looking for:

    datomatic.nointro.org/profile.xml

    Always up2date :)
