Oh, I figured it out. If you right click on a game, and go into edit, then additional apps, it lets you do just that. You can specify custom command line arguments, or you can configure two versions of the MAME emulator. Thanks launchbox!

I use MAME through retoarch right now, but as I have gotten more into it I have started to run into a lot of limitations. One of the things I LOVE about retoarch is that I can use different types of controllers seamlessly within my games. For example, I love the sega genesis six button pad for arcade games like ghost N' Ghouls and street fighter. When I have people over though, they usually prefer to play with my fight stick. In retroarch that is really easy to do, you just unplug the genesis pad and plug in the fight stick, and viola. MAME doesn't support seamlessly switching between different kinds of controllers, but I can pass in different configuration files in the command line, which can allow me to load mame configured to use different controllers. What I want to do is have different versions of the some game, kind of like what launchbox already does with multi disc games, but where each version has different command line arguments. Is this possible to do in launchbox? Would anyone be able to give me some tips on how best to set this up? Thank you.

It was the image cache! Restarting doesn't work apparently. Clicking on tools - refresh images did. Thank you. Now I just need to find a better logo! Appreciated

Hi, thanks for the quick replies. I think I am having other issues, or I am not understanding exactly what you mean. I have also placed the same file in the clear logos directory (platform/turbo cd/...ect). No luck so far!

I started using lauchbox yesterday, bought a license today, love the software. One simple problem I am having though; in big box mode I have attractive platform logos for all of my added system so far, except for the turbografx CD. I was able to add a banner and fan art by editing the platform in the edit platform window. I added a clear logo and it doesn't show up on the wheel to the left. I have messed around with it a bunch and I can't figure out how to get it to show up. Right now it defaults to some ugly bubble text. The image is a transparent PNG. I have uploaded it here in case something is wrong with the format or something... any help with this (small) issue would be appreciated. I am a bit obsessive about the collecting portion and I need everything just so :P. Thanks
