  1. @C-Beats Hi C-Beats My resolution (both in laptop and desktop pc) is 1920x1080 and Windows adds a 125% scale. Implementing features so that you can dynamically change sizes sounds like a nightmare. I wouldn't expect such work if the theme is great for everyone else. But I would appreciate if you could indicate where in the code can those changes be made, and with that I would be testing different changes by myself. I've seen in your screenshot how the spacing is better, so I guess is just a resolution thing. Thanks
  2. Hi I've been asking a lot of question trying to learn how to edit themes. Right now, I'm wondering if we could make a left sidebar smaller. We now have platform icons, so maybe we could decide to not need the platform name and I could reduce the side of that area to just an icon and the game count. It would be just a small colum at the left and we would gain more space for the game boxes and the game details. But there seems to be a minimum size and we can't make it small enough Thanks
  3. This is turning out to be a pretty great theme. I'm trying lots of different themes trying to adjust them to what I would like my Launchbox to be. I have some feedback for Omni in case its useful. To better explain it, I have this screenshot: • The Platform filter and Search box overlaps. Can we edit the theme so that the Search box appears more to the right? • I've seen that the default theme has a play button with more options. Here, if I have different versions, hacks or just multiple CDs, I can't select what to launch • Can we move that line with favourite, star rating and completed? It's current position displaces the video snap and is cropped. If we could show that information at the top (over the clear logo) we would gain enough space to see the full video. • Also, I don't know if its possible, but can we force thre columns at the bottom? That way, we could see the full information. Right now play time, times played and release date are not shown unless you clieck to see the second page Thanks. Even if it's not feasible what I'm asking, it's a really nive theme. Great work
  4. I try to modify parts of the code, or modify numbers to try to adjust it, but I can't get it to work. Sometimes it seems like changing something doesn't do anything, so I don't know what I'm modifying or what I should be modifying. In my case, I have managed to remove the carousel image in the platform details (now you only see the small image to select). But I've been trying for hours to make the last played, most played and random buttons appear vertically and it's impossible. I can't get anything to work. For your case, I've tried going to BoxesContentView and have changed <Border Height="{Binding ActualHeight, ElementName=ContentImage}" Width="{Binding ActualWidth, ElementName=ContentImage}" Background="#2A2B34" BorderThickness="0" CornerRadius="10"/> After setting that CornerRadius to 0 now game boxes are not rounded. Does that help?
  5. Hello, "good news, everyone" Thanks for the great work. The updates and constant improvement of Launchbox are appreciated. I love how this new theme is coming along. It's like a hybrid of Default with Big Details. To the comments that have been made, I wanted to add asking if we can have ways to configure to adjust the theme to our liking. With so many different users, we each give value to different parameters, so making something perfect for everyone I understand is impossible, but at least we can make adjustments to adapt it to what we are looking for. I don't know how to program and the times I try to make modifications I end up going crazy until I get something (and then there is an update and it erases everything I did XD). For example, what do I modify to adjust the carousel? In games I like to have the video and images, but in the platform I don't need it, so I would want to remove it in the platform and give more size to the 'most played', 'last played' and 'random' boxes which are buttons that I love and I would want to put them vertically occupying all the space gained from removing the carousel. In the details of the game I give value to time and now that information is not seen if you don't scroll (maybe with a bigger resolution you see the information differently, but I only see up to the play button and two more lines). If I could remove the title text from above the carousel I could gain space. Maybe even if I make the top box with the logo smaller I could get all the information up to the manual and it would be great. I understand that we can not be asking for custom settings for each one, so I think it would be nice if you could give us customization guidelines for those who do not know how to program. Thanks
  6. If you discover a way to do it, please let me know. I think it could be great I will be trying to do what you asked, but don't really know how to program, so I will be changing values trying to get it to work. If I'm lucky I will post what I get
  7. Hi again I'm trying to edit some themes (I use desktop version with my laptop and BigBox with SteamDeck) but I don't really know how to program, so I'm just messing around. Right now, I have edited the PlatformFiltersDetails to change the sizes of last played game, but there is an empty space I don't know how to edit: Below The platform clear logo and above lastplayed/mostplayed/random there is some space I would like to be filled with the clear logo, so it shows bigger Does anyone know which value should I change? Whatever I change it affects everything and that space in between does not change Thanks EDIT: There's probably a cleaner way thay what I've done, but it works
  8. What should we edit to create our custom position? And how can we make this pop-up content smaller (for me it has far bigger font size than the rest of Launchbox) I think this feature could be used so that the game details pop-up could take the same space as the platform filter of the left of the screen. That way, even if you only have one monitor, the game details would appear in an area that would not cover the selection of games. And if I want to go back to select a different platform I would only need to close the game details. If we could make this, would it be posibble to check that this game details window would allways popup when selecting a game without neededing and additional click? Thanks
  9. Thanks I was trying to copy the code for the game platform trying to get the game clear logo, but with no luck Your answer works perfectly. Now I will be trying to get it centered without the platform logo, but I think I will be able to do it Thanks EDIT: It looks great, thanks again
  10. Hi I've been searching if this question has been asked before, but haven't found this particular case. I would like to see the clear logo of a game instead of its title, but I don't know how to edit a theme I'm attaching a screenshot to make sure where I'm talking about. Would this be really hard? Is it been planned for a future update? Thanks
  11. This should really be an option A phone has much less memory space than a computer, so exporting everything but the games would allow fou our collections to be ready, just needing to add whichever game we would like to play each time
  12. Well, it works now. How? No idea. In case anyone has a similar problem, I was trying not to launch the game by selecting an emulator and creating a command line to do it, and I accidentally deleted the emulator not from the game, but from all Launchbox. After adding it back, all my ps2 games had lost the emulator field, so I assigned that too... and now it works. It's magic...
  13. Hi I'm having a problem I'm unable to solve. I've been looking for answers online, but without any luck. PCSX2 fails to initialize when launching an Additional Version of a game (which happens always when a game has multiple discs) For example, I have Xenosaga I, only 1 disc, so when I launch it through Launchbox, it opens PCSX2 and the games load without any problem. Great But then I have Xenosaga II, 2 discs. If I only configure the first disc in Launchbox, I can play it normally. If I configure the first disc and disc 2 as an additional version, I can play Disc 1 fine, but Disc 2 open PCSX2 and a "Failed to initialize CDVD" error appears. If I configure the first disc, and disc 1 and 2 as additional versions (so that the multidisc label appears), it fails even if I just 'normal launch' the game, without selecting the first disc through additional version. Is someone experimenting problems with additional versions and PCSX2? Have you been able to solve the problem? EDIT: I failed to mention that, even if the problem appears and the game doesn't launch, PCSX2 remains open. Here, through PCSX2, I can launch both disc 1 or 2 of Xenosaga II without any problem. So the error seems to be in how Launchbox calls PCSX2, but only regarding additional versions of the game. I don't know why... Thanks
  14. Thanks for the answer
  15. Amazing theme! Great work I have a quick quetion. Can I edit the theme somehow so that when you select 'All' platform, you can see the details (like Last Played, Most PLayed, Random game, total games, total game play...). If you apply any kind of filter (for example installed, completed, etc...), the All option shows this information, but not if you have you sideview filtered by platforms. Also, maybe I'm just blind, but can find how to see the game manual. Thanks And again, great theme
  16. Thanks for creating the theme
  17. Thank you for your answers @Rincewind and @faeran My options were different: Also, I have no knowledge of programming, but have tried changing it to see what happens. I slightly edited the BoxesContentView and changed this: <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="{Binding ImageRowHeight}" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> For this: <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> And magically this happens: I have no idea why, but it seems to work Thanks!
  18. Hello everyone I don't know if I have changed an option and have messed up a theme or if I could just edit it. I'm using Rincewind theme and I think its pretty great, but somehow when I apply it, my games have a big empty space at the top and the bottom. Is this normal? If you open the screenshots for the theme, no such empty space appears. Can I edit the theme to alter the size of that area? Thanks
  19. LaunchBox in a Steam Deck!! I want the Steam Deck to not use Steam, obviously
