[Ipac2 configuration]

I have an Ipac too and with the link I gave you it should be easyer to understand how it works. Each joypad image show you where are all the controls (a,b,x, etc) for each system. In retroarch go in the Input section and bind your buttons with each control and save your configuration.

For example, the Sega Genesis use a max of 6 buttons. Following the link I gave you, you'll see that you should bind those controls with your buttons:
L, X, R
Y, B, A

IMHO, no need to use AHK for that because the binding is done in Retroarch directly.

If you want a different configuration for another system you will have to create a config for each system.

Yeah I know it and I followed the discussion on BYOAC. But with a playlist no need to extract the games, you need only to use a complete Mame romset. Right now I have imported a 0.185 romset and the no filler roms. I would like to keep only the complete romset and use a playlist for the no filler games.

I try desesperatly to play Naomi GD games with Demul. I have a Naomi GD-ROM (World) Trurip set. The games are not in CHD format but in GDI. What should I do with them, convert them to CHD? How-to do that?

[Demul problems]

Hi guys,

I'm new to Demul and need your help. I followed the tutorial about Naomi games, downloaded a non merged 0.185 mame romset and use the batch files to extract Naomi, Naomi2, Naomi GD, Naomi 2 GD, Gaelco, Hikaru, Atomiswave roms to differents directories.

1) In Demul, only Atomiswave games are working. For example, I get a load file error with Dead or alive 2 (Naomi); "Unable to find 'epr-21576d.ic27' in romset 'naomi'". I don't understand because I added all my rom directories in Plugins, Maple & Paths. What did I do wrong?

2) Do I need any CHD to play the Naomi games?

3) Do I need to put all the Naomi, naomi2, Naomi GD and Naomi2 GD in the same directory?

4) For every game I can start, I get always this error:

PAdDemul

Error! (HRESULT = C0110004)

IDirectInputDEvice8 CreateEffect Failed

I press OK and the game start. What's that? I'm using an Ipac Ultimate and 2 U360 joysticks.

@Ndonkersloot, you don't use the USB connection with your U360s. You configured them in 8-way only?

What I understood watching a launchbox tutorial (Sega Naomi) is that you need a non merged ROM set.
