    sega cd 32x

i imported 32x cd games into it's own platform but when i try to select an emulator, it only let's me select "custom emulator". and i am super green on android to know what the emulator package info is. any thoughts? thanks all for holding my hand as i ask rookie questions
  2. lol, sorry, i got excited
  3. oh that great! it’s the last emu i need on this unit and i’m pulling my hair out on mame! curious if you might have an estimated date for the beta? i won’t hold you to it, just curious
  4. apologies, new to android. i changed the platform name but the blade still says wii. is there a blade for the menu that says wiiware?
  5. what am i doing wrong? i pointed to my rom folder, entered this info, starting a game says it can’t find the rom in the folder that i pointed to. i’ll my roms are merged might that have something to do with it?
  6. i’m new to the android game… anyway to get LB to access usb sd card? i’m running pimax portal which i believe is running android 10?
  7. hi guys, it would be awesome to have wiiware titles as a separate platform. thanks!
  8. hi all. i have lb running on my pimax portal, love it! launch box can see the internal memory and the sd card. then i tried plugging an sd card into a usb-c reader. android OS can see the drive and i can copy files from it to internal or the internal sd card but lb doesn’t seem to see that usb-c sd card. any tricks to get lb to see the port?
  9. fantastic thank you!
  10. yes please! upvote from me!
  11. hi all, i pulled off my main ice the mame 234 rom set. some are working, some are not using the fbneo core. anyone know which rom set version this should be using? thanks!
  12. hello, just got my android license, couldn’t be happier. as i have been testing cores, some games have core A, others have core B. is there a way that i can force all games that i have tweaked on a platform to use one core? setup a standard core for that platform that will override any testing i was doing? thanks!
  13. fantastic idea to have them selectable in LB.
  14. just curious if anyone has ever made a doc with a glossary of all the fantastic scripts in this thread? you could break up scripts by function (chapters in the doc), cross reference by emulator specific, etc. just a thought
  15. hi all, there used to be an app that did this but i don't think it's been updated in a long time and i can't even remember the name of it anyone know of a current app or plug in that does the following for MAME? you select specific control layout, joystick, spinner, trackball, etc. number of players, alternating or simultaneous play, etc. you then set up the controls for that control type and the app or plug in outputs all of the ini files for those games to be put in the mame ini folder. the reason for something like this... you can set controls globally within mame but there are so many exceptions that you will then need to tackle on a per game basis. some examples: twin stick shooter like robotron. it's an alternating player game so the two sticks i would set up would be different then the two sticks i would set up for say smashtv as that is a simultaneous 2 player two stick shooter different button count games. for a game like street fighter, you would set up the buttons three over three. so within MAME, button 4 would be the first button in the second row of buttons. But for a game that is 4 buttons (neo geo games for instance), you would want to set up 4 buttons straight across on one row. i hope this makes sense and that someone may have a lead? thanks all!
  16. Joe, you are my hero! this isn't the first time you've helped with one of my stupid questions I really appreciate your insight man!
  17. just thinking out loud on this... wouldn't it be possible for LB to compare two XML's, eg 255 vs 256, and then only display the differences found?
  18. looking for a small icon for my platform list for lightgun games. i created a playlist that is in my plaform category and it's iconless
  19. already running this, works brilliant! just cant figure out cpwizard to create the template of the panel.
  20. i think im getting too old... i have a third screen that i would like to show my arcade control panel layout with buttons labeled. i found CPWizrd but for the life of me, can't figure that app out, basicallym i want to layout my panel in the ap, assign the keys to the buttons, and much like LEDblinkym have those button labels updated based on game selected, showing the button label (i.e. punch, kick, fire, etc.) anyone have any suggestions?
  21. bless you man, really appreciate the assist!
  22. is this possible? just upgraded my set from 255 to 256. would be awesome to have automatic playlists or filters to say “show me all new games in 256”
  23. hi all, recently added old handheld games to my cab, i have a soft spot for them i found some bezel art on progretto so that the actual handheld shows on screen but missing a ton of them. anyone know of a resource where all the artwork and lay files may be? thank
  24. hi all, i recently imported old school handheld games in mame, don't laugh, i have a soft spot for them, i grew up with them (yes, i'm that old). games are working great but i was hoping that the actual unit would be displayed, instead of just the lcd screen (or surrounding bezel), like at the 7:04 mark of the below video. video shows how to do one offs, is there anyway in LB to get that artwork imported automatically? aslo, when i did import the art in LB, it said to scrape as "arcade" so a lot of the artwork that was DL's, was arcade art. anyways, just looking for a way to do this simply, if possible
  25. hey neil, just wanted to say thank you for the lead, that was it and i was able to get done what joel outlined above, so thank you to you both! and just to clarify, it wasn't a registry edit, it was a few files in system folders. all i had to do was reverse the directions of setting it up and everything worked perfectly!
