  1. Version 5.7

    10,984 downloads

I use the awesome Bigbox function to display marquees on a secondary monitor. For years I've been collecting high res Mame arcade marquees from all over the internet and since the start of this project got huge help from people in the community to expand this collection, please see the credits below. Not all marquees are in 4K but many are, I've down scaled the resolution to max 3840 pixels wide and max 2160 pixels high and saved all in .jpg format for a good size and quality balance. This project includes Naomi and Atomiswave marquees as well as other arcade systems. These marquees go hand in hand with this bezel project: Credits I have forgotten where I got all marquees through the years but I know many came from the legendary @Mr. Do collection see: https://mrdo.mameworld.info/index.php and the many members that create artwork at: https://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat= @ArsInvictus is certainly one of the providers as well. A huge thank you to @mOa and @JonnyModlin for providing many many marquees to this collection. Many lower resolution marquees came from the legendary team of AntoPisa at https://www.progettosnaps.net/ Also a huge thanks to the following people and sites: @PapaShine, @Dreamstate, @flanx, imbord3rlin3, @djweevil666, http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/, @THK, https://flyers.arcade-museum.com/, https://www.flyerfever.com/, https://www.recreativas.org/, Ken at https://www.flickr.com/photos/10707024@N04/, zzzaccaria.com, Hasan Tasdemir from Nationaal Video Game Museum for the opportunity to photograph at your amazing museum. https://www.nationaalvideogamemuseum.nl, https://segaretro.org/, @seijurou and all the logo makers and artwork scanners and submitters for the LB database and other databases. Hope you enjoy this collection.
  2. Thats a way to do it but you can also make a shortcut to Bigbox from the main directory and place it anywhere. At least thats how I do it.
  3. What's New in Version 2.1 - Changed the old themes name to: Discontinued - Neon Deluxe Arcade Final (Fading wheels) - Added: Discontinued - Neon Deluxe Arcade Final (Fading wheels) - Community Theme Creator file
  4. Thanks man I do plan to make more bezels in the future once my collection grows to more systems.
  5. Thanks so much man, good to see it had that effect on your experience I don't have vr goggles but there is a program called new retro arcade: neon that does it. Lol I did consider politics actually in the past in my activist years, but I don't like the nasty game aspects of it haha
  6. Thank you so much for the kind words man, really appreciate it! ? Next project is releasing a pack of high resolution marquees I have collected through the years, hope you have a second monitor to display them, a marquee monitor really adds to the arcade experience.
  7. Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the support through those months it really helped keeping me motivated. Can't wait to see your requests
  8. Thanks bro really appreciate it After august the 4th I'll be working on the requests and when thats finished i'll release all the bezels in the last pack, in the mean time you can indeed download them individually.
  9. REQUESTS RULES That took some time, 1 year and a lot of months lol I'll be taking a break for a month till August 4th. In the mean time you can make a request list, August 4th will close the requests round. As it's a lot of work for me to do I do ask a small amount of work from you in return, so here are the rules. 1. Game must work properly in MAME. Be sure to check if I didn't already made the bezel for the same game but with the alternative title. Neo Geo, CPS1 CPS2 and CPS3 bezels are included in pack 01. 2. I won't make Nintendo VS or any other console based systems like Sega Mega Play as I think those games are better played on the original console. No debate. 3. 10 requests per person. 4. List as follows: Launchbox title of the game / Alternative title if present / The precise parent rom name / Horizontal or Vertical To determine the rom name and the alternative titles I used the database: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/platforms/games/5 and this handy list: _MAME LIST.pdf 5. Keep in mind, if for any reason the bezel you requested is impossible for me to make I might skip it or make an alternative that might look a bit like the original. 6. To keep things arranged for me, please use the edit function in your original post so you can change your request list if you change your mind or someone else has requested the same game for instance. 7. I'll ignore any lists that don't follow these rules.
  10. Thanks bro I will be posting the request rules pretty soon.
  11. Thanks @GreenGriffon Here you go @zetec-s-joe _DirList.txt
  12. Lol no need for apologies I like to keep my system as clean as possible without installing exe's and such I won't use on a regular base. @zetec-s-joe asked my for a list of mame games I have. @GreenGriffon was it you that asked me this before? If so can you help me again to make that bat file?
  13. I'm no fan of exe's bro, was the list I exported not in the right format?
  14. Here is the list, please note that I did delete some games for which I did make a bezel, one of which I can remember is Tempest, I really don't like that game lol listmyfolder.txt
  15. I will do requests after i'm done, more about that later. I'm using a 0.198 rom set and been through the list before and deleted games I didn't care for. Someone asked a list before but I forgot how to do that, care to help me with that?
