So I noticed in the 8.2 beta that LaunchBox is going to have a new interface. I know it's necessary for LaunchBox to move forward but I would just like to add a request. And that is optimization for low-end hardware. Because most of the time LaunchBox (or BigBox) is used for projects like turning old PCs into Arcade Cabinets. So, um. I hope this request will get noticed.

But this is weird. The nightlies crash, but the stable ones run fine.

*curses* turns out I didn't had the DirectX 9.0c Runtime blah blah installed. I went to the main site of retroarch and there downloaded the installer. Now it runs fine. Thanks DOS76!

Hmm maybe I'll try updating my drivers first. So um, how do you update drivers?

I'm using AMD Legacy drivers. So, uh, no gl for me then?

So I did a clean install of windows 10 and my my, retroarch crashes on startup.

Uh dragging my game to the PPSSPP.exe

Tried drag n' dropping but still crashes. Also what I meant by command line is the default one. You know, like this "D:\Games and Stuff\Emulators\PPSSPP" "somegame.iso/cso"

@Lordmonkus using default Windows style and borders also helped improving performance. I dunno how that works. Edit: Oh my, look at it, before I ran LB around 200-300k ram. Now it's just on maximum 80k

I am also having problems, I tried to drag and drop my games and it also crashes. Maybe it has to do with the command line?

Um. @Lordmonkus, I got it finally running smoothly, I'd like to share how I figured it out. In DeSmuME, I went to Config > 3D Settings and changed the render to OpenGL 3.2. Now it works perfectly with LaunchBox!

I'm still having problems despite your help. I think I'll just wait 'till I can buy more ram. Thanks for your help anyways!

Hello everyone! I'd like to know how to optimize LaunchBox or my PC in general in order for it to run smoothly. The problem I'm having is that when I play DS games sometimes it stutters with LaunchBox, but if the emulator's alone it doesn't lag. By the way, I'm just using an old PC, so please don't get mad at me.
