To my best recollection if you don't have a Nvidia 970 or higher (not sure what model Raedon card you would need) then no VR for you. I recently bought a 960 (before I was aware of this fact) I'm curious about Occulus but I don't know if I'm ready for a $300+ video card.

Yup, Derek, you're right. Here's what I got when I ran the test: Click here for what to do if you get a similar error, but the resolution for this error is to (according to Oculus Support): 1) Upgrade your Graphics Card or use a different PC Laugh Miserable-Fail.jpg

Why the hell do you need three USB 3.0 ports all of my HTPC's do have that many ports so it wouldn't be a problem just seems like a lot of ports for the device to need.

Oculus doesn't care for my USB 3.0 add in cards either. I know the one has 4 built in ports but I think the Inspiron only has 2 wonder if a USB 3.0 hub would work.
